Enter apple id in the field provided, making sure to include “” if it’s an iCloud address. If you don’t have an Apple ID, you can create one now.

Click Continue and enter the verification code that’s sent to your trusted device or phone number and complete the sign in process.

If you’re asked to answer security questions click “If you can’t remember your answers,” then follow the instructions on the next page to reset them.

Click Reset Password and enter a new password and confirm it. Then click Reset Password again to confirm.

Before you begin
Make sure that you have a rescue email address set up with your Apple ID.

How to reset your password
Go to the Apple ID account page and click “Forgot your Apple ID or password.”

After you enter information in any of the fields, click Continue and follow the instructions on the next page. If prompted for additional security information, enter it and click Continue. When you finish, click Done.
