- Go to iforgot.apple.com.

Enter your Apple ID, then select Continue.
Choose the method you want to use to reset your password:
-Get an email: A message arrives in your inbox with a link to reset your password.Tap the link, then enter a new password. If you use an iCloud Keychain-enabled device, you can also approve this request from the Settings app. Just tap your profile photo > Password & Security > Approve Requests.
-Answer security questions: You’re prompted to answer questions that only you know, then create a new password.
-Send a verification code to your trusted device or phone number and enter it: You’re prompted for a code that’s automatically sent to one of your devices or phone numbers. Enter the code and create a new password.
Enter your Apple ID, then select Continue.
If you forgot your Apple ID, you can look it up.
Then, enter your Apple ID, select Continue, and follow the instructions. You might be asked to answer security questions or use two-factor authentication.
If you see a message that says your account is locked or disabled, or if you can’t remember your Apple ID, go to the Apple ID account page.
If you see a message that your Apple ID is locked for security reasons, it means we noticed something strange about the way you were signing in. Don’t worry, this can often be fixed by simply verifying some of your account information.

If you have an iPhone, iPad,ipod touch or another iOS device:
Open the Settings app. Tap [your name]. If you’re using iOS 10.3 or later, tap Password & Security. If you’re using iOS 10.2 or earlier, tap iCloud > Accounts > Security. If you’re using an iOS device that’s supervised by an organization, ask your administrator for help.
Tap Change Password. Enter a new password and confirm the new password by entering it again. Then enter your current password or device passcode to complete the process.”
Enter your Recovery Key for two-step verification.*
If you have two-step verification turned on for your Apple ID, you can reset your password from any trusted device that’s signed in to your Apple ID. Just follow these steps:
1. On your trusted device, open Safari and go to appleid.apple.com.
2. If you’re asked to sign in with your Apple ID, click “Forgot Apple ID or password” and enter your Apple ID.
3. If you’re asked to enter your recovery key, use the steps below to find it.
4. Choose a new password and enter it twice.* Then click Reset Password.*
5. If you see a message that says your password has been reset but you can’t sign in with it, try these steps again with a different trusted device or browser display area where you can see the whole Recover Your Password webpage.* For example, try a larger iPad or computer screen instead of an iPhone display area.

If you have a trusted device, you can reset your password with the Apple ID app, Find My iPhone, or Get Support from Apple.
If you don’t see one of your devices listed, make sure that your devices are signed in to iCloud with the same Apple ID and turned on “Find My iPhone.”
*A trusted device is a device that can be used to receive Apple ID verification codes. It could be an iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Mac that you’ve previously signed in to with your Apple ID.
