How to Reset Your Apple Watch to Factory Settings

Open the Settings app on your iPhone

There are two ways to reset apple watch to factory settings. The first is through the Settings app on your iPhone, and the second is through the watch app

If you’re having trouble with apple watch and need start fresh, you can use either method to erase all content and settings from your device. Once you’ve reset your Apple Watch, you can set it up again as new.

Tap General

There are two ways to reset your Apple Watch:
1. Press and hold both the side button and Digital Crown for at least 10 seconds, then release when you see the Apple logo.
2. Tap General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings.

If you can’t reset your watch using the method above, you may need to force restart it by pressing and holding both the side button and Digital Crown for at least 10 seconds, then release when you see the Apple logo.

1. On your iPhone, open the Apple Watch app.
2. Tap the watch tab then tap General > Reset.
3. Tap Erase All Content and Settings, then enter your passcode and tap to confirm.
4. Tap to agree to the terms and conditions that appear.
5. Wait for the process to finish, then set up your Apple Watch again.

If you want to start from scratch with your Apple Watch, you can erase all of its content and settings. Keep in mind that this process will delete everything on your watch, including any apps you’ve installed, your preferences, and any data you’ve saved. Once erased, your Apple Watch will be restored to its factory default settings.

To erase all content and settings from your Apple Watch:

1. Open the Settings app on your Apple Watch.
2. Tap General > Reset.
3. Tap Erase All Content and Settings.
4. If prompted, enter your passcode apple id password to continue.
5. Tap Erase All to confirm that you want to erase your watch and its data.

If you have a passcode set, you’ll need to enter it before you can continue.

1. Press and hold the side button until you see the power off slider.
2. Drag the slider to turn off your Apple Watch.
3. Once your Apple Watch is off, press and hold the side button again until you see the Apple logo.

Tap Erase All

There are two ways to reset your Apple Watch. The first is called a soft reset, and it’s the easiest to do. For a soft reset, press and hold both the Side Button and Digital Crown for 10 seconds. After 10 seconds have passed, your Apple Watch will restart on its own.

The second type of reset is called a hard reset, and it erases all the data on your Apple Watch. To do a hard reset, press and hold both the Side Button and Digital Crown for 10 seconds. After 10 seconds have passed, your Apple Watch will restart on its own and you’ll see the Apple logo.
