How to Reset Your Apple Watch Series 5

Open the Settings app on your iPhone.

Open the Settings app on your iPhone. Tap General > Reset. If you’ve set up a passcode for apple watch you’ll need to enter it. Then tap Erase All Content and Settings.

If you need to restart apple watch you can do it right from the device itself. Here’s how:

Press and hold the side button until the power off slider appears.
Drag the slider to the right.
After your watch turns off, press and hold the side button again until you see the Apple logo.

Tap Reset.

Here’s how:
1. On your iPhone, open watch app
2. Tap the watch tab then tap General > Reset.
3. Tap Reset, then tap to confirm.
If you enter your passcode apple id incorrectly too many times, you’ll see a message that your device is disabled. Follow the steps below to remove your passcode and set up your device again.
1. On your iPhone, open the Watch app.
2. Tap the My Watch tab, then tap Passcode > Change Passcode.
3. Enter your new passcode when prompted, then tap Done twice.
4. When prompted, enter your old passcode to confirm it and complete the process.”

Tap Erase All Content and Settings.

If you’re planning to give your Apple Watch to someone else or sell it, you’ll need to erase all of your content and settings first. Here’s how!

Open the Settings app on your Apple Watch.
Tap General.
Tap Reset.
Tap Erase All Content and Settings.
Enter your passcode when prompted, then tap Erase All to confirm your decision.

If you have a passcode set up on your Apple Watch Series 5, you’ll need to enter it to continue.

1. Press and hold the side button.
2. Tap “Erase all content and settings.”
3. Tap “Erase all.”
4. Enter your passcode when prompted.
5. Tap “Erase everything.”

Tap Erase All.

If you need to erase all the content and settings from your Apple Watch Series 5, you can follow the steps below. Please note that this will also remove any credit or debit cards that are stored on your watch.

Before you begin, make sure that your watch is at least 50% charged. You will also need to disable Find My iPhone on your iPhone if it is enabled.

1. On your iPhone, open the Watch app.
2. Tap the My Watch tab, then tap General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings.
3. If prompted, enter apple id password
4. Tap Erase everything to confirm.
5. Your watch will restart and take a few minutes to set up again.
