If you have an Apple TV (4th generation), you can reset it without the remote. Here’s how:
1. Unplug your Apple TV from power.
2.wait 30 seconds then plug it back in.
3. When you see the white light on your Apple TV, hold down the Menu and Volume Up buttons at the same time for 5 seconds.
