If you forgot apple id password or need to change it, this article shows you how to reset it.

Open Apple’s website.
Open Apple’s website in your preferred web browser and enter apple id in the “Forgot your Apple ID?” field. If you don’t know your Apple ID, click the link that says “Look it up.”
Click on the “Support” tab.
If you have an Apple ID, you can reset your password by going to apple id account page and clicking on the “Forgot your password?” link. Enter your Apple ID email address and click “Continue.”
On the next page, you’ll be asked to enter the characters in a given security image or to security questions Once you’ve successfully answered or completed the security measure, you’ll be able to reset your password and regain access to your account.
If you’re having trouble logging in to your Apple ID account, you can reset your password to regain access. Follow the steps below to reset apple id password
1. Visit Apple’s website and click on the “Account” tab.
2. Scroll down to the “Reset Your Password” section and click on the “Start Here” button.
3. Enter your Apple ID email address and click on the “Continue” button.
4. If you have security questions set up, you will be asked to answer them before you can reset your password. If not, you will be asked to verify your identity via email or text message.
5. Follow the instructions provided to reset your password and regain access to your account.

On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
Open the Settings app. Tap [your name], then tap iTunes & App Store. If you’re using iOS 10.2 or earlier, tap Settings > iTunes & App Store. Tap your Apple ID, tap view apple id You might be asked to sign in with your Apple ID.
Tap Password & Security. If you’ve enabled Two-Factor Authentication, you won’t see this option.
Tap Change Password.
Enter your current password or device passcode, then enter a new password and confirm the new password.
Tap Change or Change Password to update your password.*
Select the “I need to reset my password” option.
If you’re having trouble logging into your Apple ID account, you can reset your password to regain access. Here’s how:
Go to Apple’s iForgot website.
Enter your Apple ID (the email address associated with your Apple ID account).
Select the “I need to reset my password” option.
Choose one of the reset options:
– Get an email: Apple will send reset instructions to the email address on file for your Apple ID account.
– Answer security questions: If you set up security questions when you created your Apple ID, you can answer them to reset your password.
– Use a recovery key: A recovery key is a 16-digit code that was generated when you turned on two-factor authentication for your Apple ID. If you have this code, you can use it to reset your password.

-Enter your first name, last name, and email address. If you have multiple Apple IDs, you might need to enter different information for each one.
