How to Remove a Device from Your Apple ID

If you want to remove a device from apple id follow the steps in this blog post.

Go to Settings and select your name.

From apple id & Sign In page, go to Settings and select your name.

Scroll down and select the device that you want to remove. If you don’t see the device that you want to remove, you might need to sign in with your Apple ID.

Click Erase [device]. You might be asked for apple id password

Click Erase again to confirm that you want to remove the device from your account.

If you can’t click Erase, or if you see a message that says “Find My iPhone is turned on,” follow these steps.

Select Family Sharing, then tap your Apple ID.

From the Family Sharing section, tap the name of the family member you want to remove. If you’re using iOS 10.2 or earlier, tap Leave Family.

If you don’t see Leave Family, it might not be possible to remove the family member. For example, the family member might have unpaid bills associated with their Apple ID.

Tap Devices.

On your iOS device, go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud. If you’re using iOS 10.2 or earlier, go to Settings > iCloud.

Tap Devices. If you don’t see Devices, it’s possible that your account is protected with two-factor authentication. To remove a device that you can’t access, sign in to apple id account page

Sign in to apple id account page and click Devices.
If you don’t see Devices, it’s possible that your account is protected with two-factor authentication. Tap Edit and then tap red minus sign next to the device that you want to remove.

Select the device that you want to remove, then tap Remove from Account.
