How to unpair your devices
If you want to remove apple watch from your iPhone, you will need to unpair them. This process will delete all data from your Apple Watch, so make sure to back it up before you begin. To unpair your devices, open the watch app on your iPhone and tap “My Watch.” Tap “All Watches” at the top of the screen, then tap the watch you want to remove. Tap “Erase Apple Watch Content and Settings,” then enter your passcode to confirm.
Open the Watch app on your iPhone
Open the Watch app on your iPhone.
Tap the My Watch tab, then tap your watch at the top of the screen.
Tap the info icon next to the watch that you want to remove.
Tap Unpair Apple Watch, then tap again to confirm.

Tap the info button next to your watch. If you don’t see an info button , swipe up on your watch’s face, then tap the info button .
Tap Unpair Apple Watch.

Tap the info button next to your watch, then tap Unpair Apple Watch.
For GPS + Cellular models, choose to keep or remove your cellular plan. If you keep your plan, you can reuse it with a new Apple Watch.
Enter your iPhone passcode, then tap Erase All Content and Settings.
Tap Erase All to confirm.
Tap Unpair Apple Watch
If you want to unpair your Apple Watch from your iPhone, you can do so directly from your watch. Just follow these simple steps:
1. Tap the Settings app on your Apple Watch.
2. Tap General.
3. Tap Reset.
4. Tap Erase All Content and Settings.
5. Enter your passcode when prompted, then tap Erase All to confirm.
6. Once your watch has been reset, tap the red X button to unpair it from your iPhone.
Enter apple id password
If you have an Apple Watch and you got a new iPhone, unpair your Apple Watch from your previous iPhone before you set up your new device. Keep your Apple Watch and iPhone close together as start the process.
Make sure that your new iPhone is running iOS 11 or later, and that it’s in range of your Apple Watch. Then follow these steps:
1. On your new iPhone, open the Watch app.
2. Tap the My Watch tab, then tap your watch at the top of the screen.
3. Tap the info button next to the watch that you want to unpair, then tap Unpair [watch].
4. Enter apple id password on your iPhone if prompted, then tap Unpair to confirm.
How to unpair your devices using iCloud
In this article, we’ll show you how to unpair your devices using iCloud. This process is simple and only takes a few steps. After you unpair your devices, you can continue to use your Apple Watch and iPhone separately.
On your iPhone, go to Settings > iCloud
iCloud is a great way to keep all your devices in sync, but sometimes you need to unpair them. Maybe you’re selling your iPhone and need to remove your Watch, or maybe you want to start fresh with a new Watch. Whatever the reason, it’s easy to unpair your devices using iCloud. Here’s how!
On your iPhone, go to Settings > iCloud.
Scroll down and tap “Unpair Apple Watch.”
Enter your Apple ID password and tap “Turn Off.”
Your Watch will be unpaired from your iPhone and all data will be erased from the Watch.
Tap to turn off Find My iPhone
If you want to unpair your devices using iCloud, you will first need to disable the Find My iPhone feature on your device. You can do this by tapping the Settings icon on your device’s home screen, then tapping iCloud. Once you are in iCloud, tap the Find My iPhone toggle switch to turn it off.
Once this is done, you can return to the home screen and open the Watch app. In the Watch app, tap the My Watch tab, then tap General. Finally, tap Reset, and then select Erase All Content and Settings. This will unpair your devices and remove all of your data from your Apple Watch.
Enter your Apple ID password
If you have an Apple Watch and you got a new iPhone, unpair your Apple Watch from your previous iPhone before you set up your new device. Unpairing automatically backs up your Apple Watch so you can restore it after you pair with a new iPhone.
Make sure that your new iPhone is running iOS 11 or later, and that your Apple Watch is using watchOS 4 or later. Then follow these steps:
1. On your previous iPhone, open the Apple Watch app.
2. Tap the My Watch tab, then tap General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings.
3. Enter your Apple ID password, then tap Erase everything.
4. When the process completes, tap the Activate button on your new iPhone. Follow the instructions to finish setting up your iPhone, and pair your devices again.

There are two ways to unpair your devices. If you have an Apple Watch and you’re setting it up for the first time, you’ll need to unpair it from your iPhone before you can set it up with a different iPhone. If you already set up your Apple Watch, you can unpair it from your iPhone by following these steps:

How factory reset your Apple Watch
If you want to sell your Apple Watch or give it to someone, you need to unpair it from your iPhone. If you’re having trouble with your Apple Watch, you can also try resetting it to factory settings. This will delete all of your data and settings, so make sure to back up your Apple Watch before you begin.
On your Apple Watch, go to Settings > General > Reset
If you’re selling or giving away your Apple Watch, you’ll need to factory reset it first. This will remove all your personal data and settings from the device.
Here’s how to factory reset your Apple Watch:
1. On your Apple Watch, go to Settings > General > Reset.
2. Select Erase all Content and Settings.
3. Enter your passcode if prompted, then select Erase everything to confirm.

3. Tap General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings.
4. If you’ve turned on Find My Apple Watch, you’ll need to enter your password first.

If you turned on Find My iPhone before you lost your device, you can use remote erase to remove all the content from your device.
If you didn’t turn on Find My iPhone before you lost your device
Open Settings. Tap General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings.
If Find My iPhone is on
Go to icloud.com/find, then sign in with your Apple ID. Select All Devices, then click the device you want to erase. If asked for a password, enter the one that was used to set up the device.* Click Erase [device].
After the reset process is complete, click Remove from Account. By clicking Remove from Account, you’ll prevent others from using Find My iPhone to locate or remotely erase your device without your permission.
