Open watch app on your iPhone.

The Watch app is where you adjust most of the settings for your Apple Watch. To open it, tap the Watch app icon on your iPhone’s home screen. If you can’t find the Watch app, swipe left to right from your home screen until you see the Search bar, then type “Watch” into the search field.

In the Watch app, tap the watch tab

start Pairing. If you’ve already set up your Apple Watch but want to pair it with a new iPhone, tap unpair Watch.

Position your Apple Watch close to your iPhone.

Wait for an animation to appear on your iPhone, then hold the side button on your watch until you see the Apple logo.

Tap Start Pairing on your iPhone.

If you’re using your iPhone to set up your Apple Watch,tap start pairing on your iPhone. If you’re using your iPad, you might need to tap Continue on your iPhone.

Tap Continue on your iPhone, then tap Pair on your Apple Watch when prompted.

If you see a message that says your Apple Watch is paired with your iPhone, but you still need to set it up, follow the onscreen instructions.

Choose a language and a region.

1. Open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone, then tap the My Watch tab.
2. Tap General > Language & Region, then tap your current language and region.

4. With the new language selected, return to the My Watch tab and tap Accessibility > VoiceOver.
5. Tap Customize Voices, then choose a dialect and an accent for your selected language.

Tap Set Up as New or Restore from Backup.

If you’re new to the Apple Watch, tap Set Up as New. Otherwise, choose Restore from Backup to pair your watch with an existing iPhone backup.

Tap Agree when you see the Terms and Conditions.

On your iPhone, open the Watch app.

Hold your Apple Watch close to your iPhone. A message saying “Use your iPhone to set up this Apple Watch” should appear on your watch’s screen.
