How to Pair Your Apple Watch

Open watch app on your iPhone.

If you have apple watch you can use it with your iPhone. This article shows you how to connect the two devices.

Open the Watch app on your iPhone. If you don’t have the Watch app, download it from the App Store.

start Pairing on your iPhone. If you’re asked to sign in with apple id do it.

Hold apple watch close to your iPhone. A message should say that your Apple Watch is ready to be set up. Tap Continue. If you’re asked for a passcode, enter it on your Apple Watch.

Follow the instructions on your iPhone and Apple Watch.

Tap the My Watch tab.

1. On your iPhone, open the Watch app.
2. Tap the My Watch tab.
3. Tap Pair New Apple Watch. Follow the instructions on your iPhone and Apple Watch.

Apple Watch can be used with an iPhone 5s or later running iOS 8.2 or later, or ipod touch (6th generation) running iOS 8.2 or later.

To set up and use your new Apple Watch, follow these steps:

Update your iPhone to the latest version of iOS.
Open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone.
Scroll down to the bottom and tap Pair New Watch.
Follow the instructions on your iPhone and Apple Watch.

After you pair your Apple Watch with your iPhone, you’ll need to set up certain features and preferences before you can start using it.

Follow the instructions on your iPhone.

Watch OS 6 or later:
On your iPhone, open the Watch app. Tap the My Watch tab, then tap your watch at the top of the screen. If you’re asked for a passcode, enter it.

Tap Pair New Watch. Position your iPhone so that your Apple Watch is in view of your iPhone’s camera. If you don’t see a Pair button, wait for a message that says to use your iPhone to set up this watch. Follow the onscreen instructions to finish pairing.

If you can’t pair or connect your Apple Watch and iPhone Make sure that Bluetooth is on, then try again. If that doesn’t work, forget your Apple Watch from your iPhone and pair it again:

On your iPhone, open the Settings app, then tap Bluetooth and look for your Apple Watch under My Devices.
Tap the info button next to your watch, then tap Forget This Device.
Turn off Airplane Mode on both devices if you’re trying to pair in an airplane cabin.
Make sure that the Airplane Mode icon isn’t highlighted on either device: On an iPhone with iOS 13 or later: swipe down from the top-right corner of the screen to open Control Center, then tap the Airplane Mode icon. On an iPhone with iOS 12 or earlier: swipe up from the bottom edge of any screen to open Control Center, then tap the Airplane Mode icon.”

Wait for your Apple Watch to finish syncing.

Make sure your iPhone is nearby. On your iPhone, open the Apple Watch app, then tap the My Watch tab. Wait for your Apple Watch to finish syncing, then tap the My Watch tab. If you see a message that says “No Apple Watch Found,” check that your iPhone and watch are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. If they are, restart your iPhone and try again.
