Pairing apple watch with your iPhone is the first thing you need to do when start using it. The process is quick and easy, and once you’re done, all of your iPhone’s customizations will carry over to your Watch. Here’s how to do it.
How to Pair Your Apple Watch
In order to use your Apple Watch, you will need to pair it with your iPhone. This process is simple and only takes a few steps. First, make sure that your iPhone and Apple Watch are close to each other. Then, open the watch app on your iPhone and tap “Start Pairing.” Follow the instructions on the screen and you will be all set!
Open the Watch app on your iPhone and tap the watch tab
If you see a screen that says “Set up your Apple Watch,” tap Continue. Otherwise, make sure that your iPhone is running the latest version of iOS, then open the Watch app and tap the My Watch tab.
Tap Pair New Watch, then wait for an image of an Apple Watch to appear on your iPhone. If you don’t see an image of an Apple Watch, make sure that your iPhone is within range of your watch.
Position your Apple Watch so that its screen is centered in the viewfinder on your iPhone, then wait for a message that says “Apple Watch is pairing.” Once you see this message, proceed with the rest of the pairing process.
Tap Start Pairing on the screen that appears.
On your iPhone, open the Apple Watch app.
Make sure that your iPhone is connected to Wi-Fi and that Bluetooth is turned on.
Tap Start Pairing on the screen that appears. If you can’t find this option, it might mean that your iPhone isn’t updated to the latest version of iOS, or that you don’t have enough space available to complete the update.
On your Apple Watch, tap Continue on the screen that appears.
Position your Apple Watch so that its front is within view of your iPhone’s camera.
When prompted, enter the four-digit code that appears on your Apple Watch.

Position your Apple Watch close to your iPhone. If you’re using an iPhone 6s or later, you need to have Bluetooth turned on for your phone in order for the Watch to connect to it.
Open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone, tap start pairing > Continue.
Hold your Apple Watch up to your iPhone. A viewfinder appears on both devices, and an animation starts on your Apple Watch. When you see the viewfinder on your Watch align with the animation, hold them there until you feel a gentle tap—this means the two devices are connected.
If prompted, enter a four-digit code on your Watch.
When a message appears on your iPhone asking you to Use your iPhone to set up this Apple Watch, tap Continue.
– Open the Watch app on your iPhone, then tap the My Watch tab.

– Position your iPhone so that your watch appears in the viewfinder in the Watch app. If you’re asked to enter a password, enter the password for your Wi-Fi network.
– Wait for a message that says, “Your watch is paired” and tap Continue. After pairing, you’ll see the options to restore from a backup or set up as new.
Wait for a message that says, “Your Apple Watch is paired,” then tap Done.
If your Apple Watch doesn’t turn on, try these steps:
1. Plug in your Apple Watch using the included MagSafe or Lightning cable.
2. Press and hold the side button until you see theapple logo.
3. Wait for a message that says, “Your Apple Watch is paired,” then tap Done.
