If you just got a new iPhone, you may be wondering how to pair apple watch with it. Here’s a quick and easy guide on how to do just that.
1. Open the Watch app on your new iPhone.
2. Tap the “Start Pairing” button.
3. Place your Apple Watch on its charger next to your new iPhone.
4. Wait for theanimation to appear on your Apple Watch.
5. Tap “Continue” on your iPhone when prompted.
6. Enter apple id password on your iPhone when prompted.
7. Wait for the “Set Up as New Watch” or “Restore from Backup” screen to appear on your iPhone. If you see the “Set Up as New Watch” screen, tap “Set Up as New Watch.” If you see the “Restore from Backup” screen, skip to step 8 below .
8 . Tap “Restore from Backup.” If you don’t see this option, it means you don’t have a backup of your Apple Watch data stored on iCloud . In that case, tap “Set Up as New Watch.”
9 . Choose a backup from the list that appears, then tap “Continue.” Make sure the backup is from the time period when you were using the Apple Watch with your old iPhone (for example, if you’re setting up a new iPhone XS Max , don’t choose a backup from an old iPhone SE ).
10 . Wait for the restoration process to finish, then tap “Continue.” Once it’s finished, all of your apps and data should be restored to your Apple Watch!
