Creating an Apple ID
An Apple ID is required to access Apple services. If you don’t have an Apple ID, you can create one. An Apple ID is the account you use to access Apple services like the App Store, Apple Music, iCloud, iMessage, FaceTime, and more. It includes the email address and password that you use to sign in, as well as all the contact, payment, and security details that you’ll use across Apple services.
Go to Apple’s website
Creating an Apple ID is quick, easy, and free. You can create an Apple ID on Apple’s website or on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
On Apple’s website:
1. Go to appleid.apple.com and click Create Your Apple ID.
2. Enter your name, birthday, email address, and password.
3. Select the country or region that you live in.
4. Click Continue.
5. Answer the questions to set up security for your new Apple ID.
6. Click Continue after you’ve answered the questions about security for your new Apple ID account.”
Click on the “Account” tab
Go to Apple’s website, and click on the “Account” tab. This can be found in the upper right-hand corner of the screen, next to the “Bag” icon. Doing so will take you to the “Account Management” page where you can sign in or create an account.
If you already have an Apple ID, enter your email address and password in the appropriate fields and click “Sign In.” If you don’t have an Apple ID, click on the link that says “Create Your Apple ID.” You will then be taken to a page where you can enter your desired Apple ID, as well as your name, birthday, and password. Be sure to read and agree to the terms and conditions before clicking on the “Create Apple ID” button at the bottom of the page.
Select “Create Your Apple ID”
Apple now requires that you have an Apple ID before you can download apps from the App Store or make other digital purchases. You can create an Apple ID using your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Mac. If you’ve already set up an Apple ID on your device, you can skip to step 4.
1. Open the App Store app.
2. Tap Purchased.
3. Tap “Create Your Apple ID.”
4. Enter your birthday and tap Next.
5. Enter your name and tap Next.
6. Use your email address as your Apple ID and tap Next. If you don’t have an email address, tap “Get a free iCloud email address.”
7. Select the country or region where you live and tap next.
8. Type in a password that you’ll use to sign in to your account and tap Next. Review the Terms and Conditions and tap Agree if you agree to them.<9> Tap “Create Apple ID.”
Enter your information
Enter your name, date of birth, and an email address that you want to use as your Apple ID. Make sure that the email address is one that you can access. You’ll use this Apple ID to sign in to all Apple services.
If you don’t have an Apple device, you can create an Apple ID without adding a payment method.
To use any of the services that require an Apple ID, such as iCloud, iTunes Store, or App Store, you must first sign up for an Apple ID. If you’ve used otherapple products such as Safari, iCloud Keychain, or purchased music on iTunes Store, you already have an ID and don’t need to create a new one.

An Apple ID is the account you use to access Apple services like the App Store, Apple Music, iCloud, iMessage, FaceTime, and more. It includes the email address and password that you use to sign in, as well as all the contact, payment, and security details that you use across Apple. If you’ve used other Apple services such as iCloud, sign in to the App Store with the same Apple ID. If you don’t have an Apple ID, you can create one.
Log in to your account
If you want to buy something from the iTunes Store, App Store, or make a iCloud.com purchase, you need an Apple ID. Your Apple ID is the account that you use to sign in to all Apple services. If you use other Apple services such as iCloud, sign in to the App Store with the same Apple ID.
If you don’t have an Apple ID, you can create one.
You can use your Apple ID to:
-Shop the iTunes Store, App Store, iBooks Store, and Mac App Store
-Buy iCloud storage
-Rent or buy movies and TV shows from the iTunes Store
-Subscribe to Apple Music
-Access your iCloud photos and files
-Sign in to websites and apps with your Apple ID
-Use FaceTime and iMessage
Click on the “My Apple ID” tab
You will be brought to a page where you can enter your Apple ID and password. If you have never used an Apple ID before, you will need to create one. Creating an Apple ID is free and only takes a few minutes.
To create an Apple ID, you will need to provide a valid email address, choose a password, enter your birthday, and select your country of residence. Once you have entered this information, click on the “Create Apple ID” button.
You will then be asked to verify your email address. You will need to access the email account that you provided and look for an email from Apple with the subject “Verify your Apple ID”. Click on the link in this email to verify your address.
Once you have verified your email address, you will be able to log in to your new Apple ID account start using it right away!
Enter your information
We need some basic information from you before you can begin using your Apple ID. Just enter your name, birthday, and email address, then click Continue.
Name: Enter the name that you want people to see when you share something using your Apple ID. This is usually your first and last name, but you can use any name that you want.
Birthday: We need to know your birthday so we can send you special offers on your birthday and help keep your account secure.
Email Address: Enter the email address that you want to use as your Apple ID.
Managing your Apple ID
An Apple ID is fundamental to the use of Apple services. If you have multiple Apple products, you can use the same Apple ID for all of them. Your Apple ID gives you access to iCloud, the App Store, iTunes Store, Apple Books, and more. It’s important to keep your Apple ID and password secure and up to date.
Click on the “Manage Your Apple ID” tab
After you sign in to apple id account page click on the “Manage Your Apple ID” tab. If you don’t see this tab, it’s probably because you’re using an outdated browser. Update to the latest version of Safari, Firefox, or another browser and try again.
On the “Manage Your Apple ID” page, you can do the following:
-Update your password
-Update your security questions
-Change your rescue email address
-Enable two-step verification for additional security
Enter your information
So that we can create your Apple ID, please enter your full name, date of birth, an email address that you can access, and a password.
If you’d like to, you can also enter your cell phone number. This way, if you ever forget your password or need to change it, we can text you a verification code.
You’ll also need to enter a payment method so that we can bill you for any Apple products or services that you purchase. We accept major credit cards and PayPal.
You can find the “Edit” button by going to the “Account” section of your Apple ID management page. Once you click on that, you will be able to change any of the information associated with your account, including your password, contact information, and payment information.
Make changes to your account
You can change your name, email address, password, and more. To change your Apple ID, go to appleid.apple.com.
If you have icloud account a MobileMe account, or a .Mac account, you can use the same Apple ID you use for either of those services.
Click on the “Save” button in the upper right hand corner of the page when you are finished making changes to your account information. This will save your changes and update your account.
