Look for the Watch app

If you’re unsure where to find watch app it should be located on the home screen of your iPhone. If you can’t find it, try searching for “watch” in the App Store or opening the App Store app and tapping the “Search” tab. Once you’ve found the Watch app, tap “Get” to download it, then open it.

Make sure that you have the Watch app installed on your iPhone.

The Watch app is pre-installed on iOS 8.2 and later versions of the operating system, but if you have accidentally deleted it, you can reinstall it from the App Store. Once you have installed the Watch app, open it and pair apple watch with your iPhone.

Once your Apple Watch is paired with your iPhone, you can use the Find My iPhone app to locate your watch if it is lost or stolen. Simply open the Find My iPhone app and sign in with apple id and password. Your Apple Watch will appear on a map, and you can set it to play a sound, send a message, or mark it as lost mode.

Check your iPhone’s settings

If you’re using an iPhone 6s or later, you use apple watch Series 3 and later with Bluetooth to see your watch’s current location. To do this, your iPhone needs to be nearby, and your watch needs to be connected to your iPhone.
If you turned off Location Services for Apple Watch, turn it back on.
Open the Settings app on your iPhone, then tap Privacy > Location Services > System Services. Make sure that the location indicator next to “Enable LTE” is green.
If you don’t see “System Services” listed, tap Cellular Data Network (CDN) at the bottom of the screen, then enter the information for your cellular carrier’s CDN network.
On your watch, open the Settings app, then tap Cellular > Set up Cellular. If you see a message that says “Carrier Settings Update,” tap Update Now. If an update is available, a carrier settings update will download and install.

Tap the watch tab then go to General > About. If you see a Watch model listed, your iPhone supports Apple Watch.

If you don’t see a Watch model listed, or you see “No watch found,” your iPhone doesn’t support Apple Watch. To pair an Apple Watch with your iPhone, you need an iPhone 5s or later with iOS 8 or later. You also need to make sure that Bluetooth is turned on.

Check for updates

Before you begin, make sure that your iPhone has the latest version of iOS, and that your watch has the latest version of watchOS.

On your iPhone, open the Apple Watch app. Tap the My Watch tab, then tap General > Software Update.
If an update is available, tap Download and Install.

On your Apple Watch, open the Settings app. Tap General > Software Update.
If an update is available, tap Download and Install.

If you can’t find the Watch app or you’re not sure if your iPhone supports Apple Watch, try to update your iPhone to the latest version of iOS.

If you can’t find the Watch app on your iPhone, it’s possible that your device doesn’t support Apple Watch. To see if your iPhone supports Apple Watch, check the technical specifications for your model.

If you have an iPhone 5s or later and you upgraded to iOS 10 or later, the Watch app should be on your Home screen. If you don’t see the Watch app, go to Settings > General > Restrictions and make sure that Installing Apps is turned on.

To update your iPhone, go to Settings > General > Software Update. If there’s an update available, install it.

Check your carrier

The first thing you should do is check with your carrier to see if they offer a locating service for your Apple Watch. If they do, they will likely be able to help you locate your watch as long as it’s powered on and connected to their network.

If your carrier doesn’t offer a locating service, or if you’re not sure, you can also try using Apple’s Find My iPhone service to locate your watch. This service can help you locate all of your Apple devices, including your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, and even your Apple Watch. To use Find My iPhone, simply go to iCloud.com/find or download the Find My iPhone app on another iOS device.

If you still can’t find the Watch app or you’re not sure if your iPhone supports Apple Watch, contact your carrier to make sure that your iPhone is capable of using Apple Watch.

The Watch app is available on all iPhone models that support iOS 8.2 or later, including the iPhone 5, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5s, iPhone 6, and iPhone 6 Plus. If your iPhone can’t update to at least iOS 8.2, you won’t be able to use Apple Watch with that iPhone.

* Once you find the app in the search results, tap the Get button to download it.
