How to Get Steps on Your Apple Watch

If you recently got apple watch you may be wondering how to get steps on your device. Here are a few tips to get started.

Open the Activity app.

Open the Activity app on your iPhone, then go to your watch’s watch tab Scroll down to Workouts, then tap it. Turn on the Outdoor Walk or Indoor Walk workout, depending on your preference.

Now that you’ve set up an activity goal, you need start tracking your steps. The easiest way to do this is to just wear apple watch throughout the day. Every time you raise your wrist, the Watch will buzz and show you the time along with a count of the steps you’ve taken so far that day.

If you want to be more precise, you can also start a Workout directly on your watch. To do this, open workout app and then scroll down and tap on either Outdoor Walk or Indoor Walk. The Workout app uses the Watch’s built-in heart rate sensor to get even more accurate calorie burn and distance estimates.

Tap the Awards tab, then scroll down to the Progress section.

On your iPhone, open watch app Scroll down to the Awards tab, then tap it. Scroll down to the Progress section. You might need to tap Show More to see all of your awards.

Tap on the Share button in the top right corner.

When you finish a walk, run, or other workout, you can share your activity with friends. Just open the Activity app on your iPhone, then tap the Share button in the top-right corner.

You can also share your activity from the Activity Rings widget on your iPhone. Just 3D Touch (or long-press) anywhere on the widget, then tap Share.

Select how you want to share your activity, then tap on the Send button.

If you want to share your activity with friends, family, or co-workers, you can do so by selecting the “Share Activity” option in apple watch app on your iPhone. Once you’ve selected this option, you’ll be able to choose how you want to share your activity data, such as through email or via social media. After you’ve made your selection, tap on the “Send” button to share your activity.
