If you want to change apple watch band, you first need to remove the old band. To do this, you must first remove the band from the watch case. Once the band is removed, you can then slide the new band into place.

Use the band release buttons

If your watch has band release buttons on the underside of the watch case, press and hold a band release button and slide the band across to remove it. If your watch doesn’t have band release buttons, read the next section.

Pull the band away from the watch

To remove apple watch band, hold the band near the watch face and press the release button. The band should slide out of the groove. If the band doesn’t budge, make sure that you’re pressing the release button, not the crown.

Align the band with the watch

3. To adjust the fit, push and hold the large end of the band until it slides out of the slot, then slide it back into place.

How to Clean Your Apple Watch Bands

From time to time, you’ll need to clean your Apple Watch bands. Whether it’s to remove dirt, sweat, or just to give them a good cleaning, here’s how! You’ll need a few things: dish soap, a soft cloth, and water. Start by wetting the band with warm water, then add a drop or two of dish soap to the cloth.

Remove the band from the watch

To remove your band, press the band release buttons on either side of the watch. If your watch has a taptic engine, you feel a tap. If your watch doesn’t have a taptic engine, you’ll hear a click. The band opens slightly.

Place your finger under the strap near the buckle, then push up and out. The band opens more. Repeat on the other side.

Gently slide the band out from under the top case. If you’re having difficulty removing the band, try using compressed air to blow between the case and band. This might loosen any dirt or debris that’s preventing the band from coming off.

Clean the band with a soft, dry cloth

Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the band. If you get the band wet, dry it as soon as possible.
-To clean the Metallic band, use a soft, dry cloth. If necessary, you can lightly dampen the cloth with fresh water. Then dry the band thoroughly before putting it back on your watch.
-If you have skin irritation from wearing a nickel allergy band, take a break from wearing the band until your skin heals. Washing the affected area with soap and water can help.
