- Go to the App Store and download the Xfinity Stream app.
- Open the app Sign in with your Xfinity ID and password.
- Select the Live TV tab at the bottom of the screen.
- Find the network or show you want to watch and select it.
- Once the show or movie starts playing, you can use the controls at the bottom of the screen to pause, fast-forward, or rewind.

To get started, you’ll need to download the Xfinity Stream app on your Apple TV. You can do this by opening the App Store and searching for “Xfinity Stream.” Once find the app, click “Get” to download it. Once it’s finished downloading, you can open it by clicking the “Open” button.
Open the app Sign in with your Xfinity ID and password.
Open the app and sign in with your Xfinity ID and password. Then, select Settings > Devices > Add device. Choose Apple TV from the list of available devices, and then follow the prompts to finish adding your device.
From the main screen, if you’re not on the Live TV tab, select it. If you don’t see the Live TV tab, you may need to select the “More” tab at the bottom right of the main screen first.
Once on the Live TV tab, use the channel up/down buttons on your remote to scroll through the available channels. The number of available channels will depend on your location and Xfinity TV package. When you’ve found a live channel that’s playing the Apple TV show or movie you want to watch, press the Select button on your remote.

The Apple TV app is already on iPhone, iPad,ipod touch Mac, and Apple TV — as well as other screens you likely use every day, such as your Smart TVs. Just open the app start watching. You can also find the Apple TV app on streaming platforms such as Roku and Amazon Fire TV.
If you have an Xfinity X1 or Xfinity Flex customer with a compatible device, you can watch select shows and movies directly on your television — without using another streaming device. Just say “Apple TV” into your Voice Remote to find and watch your favorite shows and movies from Apple TV+. If you don’t have a Voice Remote, you can still say “Apple TV” into your X1 or Flex Voice Remote to get started.
