AppleCare is a great way to get extended support and protection for your iPhone. Here’s how to get it.

Go to Apple’s website
If your iPhone is still covered by AppleCare, you can go to Apple’s website and chat with a representative. They should be able to tell you how many days you have left on your coverage, and they can help Sign up for AppleCare+ if you’d like.
Find the “AppleCare” section
When you first get your iPhone, it comes with a set warranty from Apple. This warranty covers manufacturing defects and other hardware issues, but it doesn’t cover accidental damage. If you want coverage for accidents, you need to purchase AppleCare+ for your iPhone.
find the “AppleCare” section and purchase AppleCare+, follow these steps:
1. Open the “Settings” app on your iPhone.
2. Tap “General.”
3. Tap “About.”
4. Scroll down to the “AppleCare” section.
5. Tap “Purchase AppleCare+.”
6. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete your purchase.
Click on the “iPhone” tab
If you have an iPhone, you can get AppleCare for it. Here’s how:
1. Go to Apple’s website and log in with apple id
2. Click on the “iPhone” tab.
3. Select the “AppleCare” option.
4. Click on the “Buy Now” button.
5. Follow the instructions to complete your purchase.
Select the type of AppleCare you want
There are two types of AppleCare for the iPhone: AppleCare+ and AppleCare Protection Plan. AppleCare+ includes hardware coverage and technical support from Apple for two years, and can be purchased directly from Apple or an authorized Apple reseller. The cost is $129 for the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus, $149 for the iPhone X, and $199 for the iPhone XS and XS Max.
The AppleCare Protection Plan extends your coverage to three years from your iPhone’s original purchase date and adds coverage for up to two incidents of accidental damage, each subject to a service fee of $29 plus tax. If you have an iPhone that’s eligible for the plan, you can add it to your cart when you buy your new iPhone or within 60 days of your iPhone purchase. The cost is $199 for the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus, $249 for the iPhone X, and $299 for the iPhone XS and XS Max.

AppleCare+ for iPhone extends your coverage to two years from your AppleCare+ purchase date and adds up to two incidents of accidental damage coverage, each subject to a $29 service fee.1 In addition, you’ll get 24/7 priority access to Apple experts by chat or phone.2
Here’s what you need to know about purchasing AppleCare+ for iPhone.
When you buy your iPhone, you can add AppleCare+ right from your device. To do so, open settings app tap general > About, then follow the onscreen instructions. You can also buy AppleCare+ by visiting an Apple Store, calling 800-MY-APPLE, or going online.
If you already have an iPhone and would like to purchase AppleCare+, you can do so within 60 days of your device purchase if it’s covered by our standard one-year limited warranty or within 30 days of your device purchase if it isn’t. To add AppleCare+ after purchase, visit an Apple Store or call 800-MY-APPLE.
