How to Get a Keyboard on apple watch
If you’re like me, you were disappointed when you found out apple watch doesn’t come with a keyboard. I was determined to find a way to get a keyboard on my watch, and I finally did! In this article, I’m going to show you how to get a keyboard on apple watch
Use the default keyboard
The Apple Watch comes with a default keyboard that you can use to type out messages, emojis, and more. To access the keyboard, simply tap on the text field where you want to type. The keyboard will automatically appear.
If you want to change the language of the keyboard, tap on the globe icon next the space bar. This will bring up a list of different languages that you can choose from.
To insert an emoji, tap on the smiley face icon next to the globe icon. This will bring up a list of different emoji that you can choose from.
Use a third-party keyboard
You can use a third-party keyboard on your Apple Watch. This gives you more options when it comes to typing on your watch.
There are a few different keyboards that you can use on your Apple Watch. Some of these keyboards are made specifically for the Apple Watch, while others are designed to work with both the iPhone and the Apple Watch.
Some of the best keyboard options for the Apple Watch include:
Flesky: Flesky is an iPhone and Apple Watch keyboard that offers a variety of features, including predictive text, a customizable layout, and support for over 40 languages.
Minuum: Minuum is an iPhone and Apple Watch keyboard that offers a unique “mini” layout that allows you to see more of your screen. It also includes features such as predictive text, emoji support, and more.
Keyboard for Wear OS by Google: This keyboard is developed by Google and is designed specifically for Wear OS devices (which includes the Apple Watch). It offers features such as gesture typing, voice typing, emoji support, and more.
To install a third-party keyboard on your Apple Watch, you will need to install it on your iPhone first. Once it is installed on your iPhone, it will be automatically installed on your watch. You can then access it by going to settings app on your watch and tapping on “Keyboards”.
Use an emoji keyboard
The watchOS emoji keyboard is the quickest and easiest way to get a keyboard on your Apple Watch. To access it, simply Force Touch on the Watch face to bring up the customization options, then tap on the “Keyboard” icon. From there, you can enable or disable emoji accessibility.
If you want a more traditional keyboard experience, you can install a third-party keyboard app from the App Store. There are a few different options available, but we recommend Keyboard for Watch by AgileBits. It’s one of the most popular keyboard apps available, and it offers a great blend of features and simplicity.
To install Keyboard for Watch, open the App Store app on your iPhone and search for “keyboard for watch.” Once you’ve found the app, tap on “Get” to download and install it.
Once installed, you’ll need to configure some settings before you start using the keyboard. To do this, open the Settings app on your iPhone and navigate to “General > Keyboard > Keyboards.” From here, tap on “Add New Keyboard,” then select “Keyboard for Watch.”
Once you’ve added the keyboard, open it and tap on “Enable Full Access.” This will allow the keyboard to work properly. You may see a warning message pop up asking if you trust the developer; if so, just tap on “Trust” to continue.
Now that everything is set up, you can start using your new keyboard! To do so, simply open any app that supports text input (such as Messages or Mail) and tap on the text field. You should see a globe icon next to the space bar; tapping on this will toggle between your different keyboards. Tap on the Keyboard for Watch icon to switch to your new keyboard, then start typing away!
Conclusion
If you want to use a keyboard with your Apple Watch, you have a few different options. You can use an Apple Watch keyboard case, an Apple Watch keyboard dock, or an Apple Watch keyboard app. Each option has its own pros and cons, so choose the one that best fits your needs.
