If it’s not there, check under the iPad

If you’re like most people, you probably misplace your Apple Pencil on a regular basis. Here are a few tips on how to find it:

1. Check under your iPad. The Pencil sometimes gets stuck to the magnetic strip that runs along the side of the iPad.

2. If you have an iPad Pro, check under the Smart Connector on the side of the tablet. The Pencil sometimes gets magnetically attached to this strip as well.

3. Look in any case or sleeve you use for your iPad. The Pencil is often tucked away in a pocket or other compartment in these accessories.

4. Search your desk, bedside table, or any other surface where you typically use your iPad. The Pencil is often left behind when you move locations.

5. Check all of your pockets (including Jacket pockets, pants pockets, and purse pockets). ThePencil is small enough to slip into almost any pocket unintentionally.

6. Finally, if you still can’t find the Pencil, try using the Find My iPhone app to locate it via Bluetooth tracking.

If it’s not there, check around the house

-In a kitchen drawer
-On your desk at work
-In your car’s glove compartment
-In a jacket or purse pocket
