How to Find Steps on Your Apple Watch

If you’re new to apple watch one of the first things you’ll want to know is how to find the steps tracker. Here’s a quick guide!

Checkout this video:

Open the Activity app.

On your iPhone, open the Activity app.

Tap the icon for Today at the bottom of the screen, then tap your name at the top.

If you don’t see Today, tap the Back button , then swipe up until you see it.
## Look for information about your steps under Walking + Running Distance.

Scroll to the bottom tap last 7 days

If you want to see your step progress over time, you can check the Health app on your iPhone, or scroll to the bottom of the Today view on apple watch to view your steps for the last 7 days.

Scroll down to see your steps for each day.

To see your steps for each day, scroll down on the Home screen or raise your wrist to wake your watch.

Tap steps to see a graph of your step activity for the current day. If you’re using a cellular model apple watch Series 5 or later, you can also tap to see your walking pace.

If you’re using an older model apple watch without cellular, you need to be in range of your iPhone to see your walking pace. To improve accuracy, make sure thatLocation Services is on and that you’re carrying your iPhone with you to track all of your movement.

You can also add the Steps complication to your watch face so that you can see your progress at a glance.

Tap a day to see your step count for that day.

To see your step count on apple watch open the Activity app. You can also get step counts by asking Siri or checking the iPhone Health app.

The easiest way to see your step count is on your wrist:
-Open the Activity app on apple watch
-Tap a day to see your step count for that day.

If you’re using an iPhone, you can also check your step count in the Health app:
-Open the Health app on your iPhone.
-Tap the Dashboard tab, then tap Fitness. Under Move, you’ll see how many steps you’ve taken today.
