How to Factory Reset Your Apple Watch Series 3

If you’re selling or giving away apple watch Series 3, you’ll need factory reset it first. Here’s how to do it.

Open the Settings app on your iPhone.

3. Tap Erase All Content and Settings.
4. To back up apple watch data before erasing it, tap Back Up Then Erase. Otherwise, tap Erase All.
5. Enter apple id password to turn off Activation Lock and remove the device from your account.*
6. Wait for the process to finish, then set up your Apple Watch again.

Swipe up on the watch face to open Control Center, then tap General > Reset.

If you’re prompted for a passcode, enter it.

Tap Erase All Content and Settings, then tap again to confirm.

Tap Reset.

4. Tap Erase All Content andSettings.
5. Enter your passcode if prompted.
6. Tap Erase All to confirm that you want to erase your data and settings.

If you want to start from scratch with your Apple Watch Series 3, you can factory reset it using these steps.

Before you begin, make sure to back up your data. Once you factory reset your watch, all of your data will be erased.
