If you need to free up some space on apple tv or if you have an app that you no longer use, you can delete it using settings app First, open settings app by pressing the Home button on your Siri remote and then selecting the Settings icon. In the Settings menu, select General > Apps.
This will take you to the Apps screen, where you will see all of the apps that are installed on your Apple TV. To delete an app, simply highlight it and press the Delete button on your remote. You will be asked to confirm that you want to delete the app; once you do, it will be removed from your Apple TV.
Scroll down and select Apps.
Apple TV has a lot of great apps and features, but sometimes you need to delete an app for one reason or another. Maybe you want to free up some space, or maybe you just don’t use a particular app very often. Whatever the reason, deleting an app from your Apple TV is actually pretty simple once you know how.
Here’s how to delete an app from your Apple TV:
1.start by opening up the main menu on your Apple TV. You can do this by clicking the button on the top of the remote or by swiping down from the top of the screen.
2. Once you’re in the main menu, scroll down and select “Settings.”
3. In the settings menu, scroll down and select “General.”
4. In the General menu, scroll down and select “Storage.”
5. In the Storage menu, you’ll see a list of all the apps that are installed on your Apple TV. To delete an app, simply click on it and then select “Delete.”
Select the app you want to delete.
To delete an app from your Apple TV, select the app you want to delete using the touchpad or Siri Remote. Once you’ve selected the app, press and hold the Touch surface until the app jiggles. You should see an X appear in top left corner of the app.
Click the X to delete the app from your Apple TV.
Select Delete App.
Here’s how to delete an app from your Apple TV:
1. From the Home screen, choose Settings.
2. Select General.
3. Select Storage & iCloud Usage.
4. Select Manage Storage under the Storage section.
5. Select an app to delete, then select Delete App.
Select Delete again to confirm.
Open the App Store app, then go to the Purchased tab.
Find the app that you want to delete, then swipe left on it and tap Delete. Or, hover your pointer over the app and click .
If you don’t see Delete when you hover over an app or if you see Hide Purchase, it might be a built-in iOS app that can’t be deleted.
