If you’re not using an app on apple tv you can delete it to free up space. Here’s how to delete an app from apple tv

Open the App Store.
Open the App Store. You find the App Store on home screen of your Apple TV.
Click Purchased.
Under the “Purchased” heading, click the “Not on This Apple TV” button.
Select an app to delete.
Click Delete.
A confirmation message will appear asking if you want to delete the app. Click Delete App to confirm.
Highlight the app you want to delete.
To delete an app on your Apple TV, follow the steps below.
1. Highlight the app you want to delete.
2. Press and hold the Touch surface or Select button (depending on your model) on the Siri Remote. The app will jiggle.
3. Press the Play/Pause button .
4. Click Delete.
Press and hold the Touch surface until the app jiggles.
To delete an app, press and hold the Touch surface until the app jiggles. Tap the X in the top corner of the app to delete it.
To delete an app on your Apple TV, open up the App Store app, then go to Purchased. From there, simply hover over the app you want to delete, then tap the X button that appears. Once you confirm that you want to delete the app, it will be removed from your Apple TV.
To delete an app on Apple TV, press and hold the Touch surface of the Siri Remote until the app icon jiggles. If you’re using an Apple TV 4K or 4th generation, you can also swipe down on the Touch surface of your remote.
Press the Play/Pause button to stop the app from jiggling.
Next to the app that you want to delete, press the Touch surface of your remote, then press Delete.
