Manage your iCloud storage

You can buy more storage or free up space on your device when you manage your iCloud storage.

iCloud storage plans give you access to iCloud Photos, iCloud Drive, Mail (your @icloud.com email account), Apple Books, Back to My Mac, Screen Time backups, Find My iPhone backups, and more. You can choose a plan that’s best for you. And if you stop using one of the services that comes with your plan, you can downgrade your storage plan at any time.

When you sign in to iCloud.com, you get 5GB of free storage for your Mail, Documents, Photos, and other stuff. If you use all of your iCloud storage, you can buy more from Apple or reduce the amount of data that’s stored in iCloud.

If you downgrade your storage plan and your content exceeds the storage available, new photos and videos won’t upload to iCloud Photos and new documents won’t save to iCloud Drive. You’ll need to delete content manually to make more space available.

Delete your Apple ID

Deleting your Apple ID will erase all of the data and purchases associated with it and you will no longer be able to use it to sign in to any Apple services. This process cannot be undone, so make sure that you have a backup of all your data before proceeding.
