First, if your car is parked and you have your phone in Do Not Disturb mode, Apple Maps will prompt you to connect to CarPlay when start driving. If that doesn’t happen, or if you’re already on the road, open Settings on your iPhone tap general > CarPlay > Available Cars.find your car in the list and tap on its name. Once connected, you’ll see the home screen appear on your receiver’s display.
