How to Connect Your Apple Watch to Wi-Fi

If apple watch is having trouble connecting to a Wi-Fi network, follow these steps to get it connected.

Open the Settings app on your iPhone, then tap Wi-Fi.

Tap the name of the Wi-Fi network that you want apple watch to join. If you’re asked for a password, enter it.

On apple watch open the Settings app. Tap Wi-Fi, then turn on Wi-Fi.

Your Apple Watch should automatically connect to known networks after you set it up. If it doesn’t, or if you want to join a new network, follow these steps:

Make sure that Wi-Fi is on and that you’re in range of a Wi-Fi network.

On your iPhone, open watch app Tap the watch tab then tap General > About. Look for the number next to the “Wi-Fi” field.

If the number is 0, your Apple Watch doesn’t have Wi-Fi capabilities. To connect to a Wi-Fi network:

1. Make sure that your watch is in range of a Wi-Fi network that you can access with your iPhone.
2. On your iPhone, open the Watch app.
3. Tap the My Watch tab, then tap General > About.
4. Look for the number next to the “Wi-Fi” field and make sure that it’s higher than 0. If it isn’t, turn on Wi-Fi on your iPhone ( Settings > Wi-Fi). When you turn on Wi-Fi on your iPhone, it automatically turns on Wi-Fi on your watch..

Tap the name of the Wi-Fi network that you want to join.

If a passcode is required, enter it on your Apple Watch. If you don’t know the passcode, ask the person who set up the Wi-Fi network.

If you’re asked to enter apple id and password, enter them on your iPhone. If you don’t have apple id you can create one.

Enter the password for the Wi-Fi network, if prompted.

If you’ve already set up your Apple Watch and it’s connected to your iPhone, it will automatically connect to any known Wi-Fi networks that your iPhone has connected to in the past. If you’re setting up your Apple Watch for the first time, or if you want it to connect to a new Wi-Fi network, follow these steps:

1. On your iPhone, open the Settings app.
2. Tap Wi-Fi. Make sure that Wi-Fi is on.
3. Tap the name of the Wi-Fi network that you want your watch to join.
4. Enter the password for the Wi-Fi network, if prompted.
5. On your Apple Watch, tap Settings > Wi-Fi.
6. Choose the same Wi-Fi network as your iPhone from the list of available networks on your watch

Tap Join.

If you’re setting up your Apple Watch for the first time, you’ll be prompted to connect to Wi-Fi during the process. After setup, you can also change the Wi-Fi network that your watch uses from the Settings app on your iPhone.

To connect to a different Wi-Fi network:
1. On your iPhone, open the Settings app.
2. Tap Wi-Fi. Make sure that Wi-Fi is on.
3. Tap a network under Choose a Network…
4. Enter the password, if required.
5. Tap Join.

Wait for a few seconds while your Apple Watch connects to the Wi-Fi network.

If you’re out of range of your iPhone or your iPhone isn’t connected to a Wi-Fi network, you can connect your Apple Watch to a Wi-Fi network.

1. On your Apple Watch, open the Settings app.
2. Tap Wi-Fi.
3. Wait for a few seconds while your Apple Watch connects to the Wi-Fi network.

You might be asked to enter a password for the Wi-Fi network.
