How to Connect Your Apple Pencil 2

Open the box and remove apple pencil 2

Take apple pencil 2 out of the box. You’find the Pencil, a spare tip, and a lightning adapter in the box.

Take off the plastic cap at the top of the Apple Pencil 2

To connect your Apple Pencil 2 to your iPad, start by taking off the plastic cap at the top of the Apple Pencil 2. If your iPad is in an Apple silicone or leather case, take it out of the case before you begin.

Next, hold down the button on the side of the Apple Pencil 2 for 3 seconds. A image of a charging cable should appear on your iPad’s screen, along with a “Connecting” message.

Plug the Apple Pencil 2 into the Lightning connector on your iPad

Apple Pencil 2 ties into your iPad in a totally different way than its predecessor. The first Apple Pencil plugged directly into the Lightning port on the side of your iPad, but with the second-generation Pencil, that’s no longer necessary. Now, there’s just a flat side that magnetically attaches to the side of your iPad.

Wait for the Apple Pencil 2 to connect to your iPad

If your Apple Pencil 2 won’t connect to your iPad, make sure that Bluetooth is turned on. You can also try restarting your iPad and your Apple Pencil 2.

1. Wait for the Apple Pencil 2 to connect to your iPad.

2. Make sure that Bluetooth is turned on. You can turn Bluetooth on by going to Settings > Bluetooth.

3. If you still can’t connect your Apple Pencil 2 to your iPad, try restarting your iPad and your Apple Pencil 2.

Tap the Apple Pencil 2 on the screen of your iPad to wake it up

To connect your Apple Pencil 2 to your iPad, make sure that Bluetooth is turned on, then tap the Apple Pencil 2 on the screen of your iPad. A popup will appear asking if you want to connect the Apple Pencil 2 to your iPad. Tap Connect and you’re all set!

Pair your Apple Pencil 2 with your iPad

1.Take the Apple Pencil 2 out of the box.
2.Remove the cap and plug the Lightning connector into the Lightning port on your iPad.
3.If your iPad has an Smart Connector, you can pair your Apple Pencil 2 by placing it on the right side of your iPad (for iPad Pro 12.9-inch (3rd generation) and iPad Pro 11-inch).
4.Tap Continue on your iPad, then follow the instructions on the screen.

Use your Apple Pencil 2

If you have an Apple Pencil 2, you can use it with your iPad Pro to draw, sketch, paint, and illustrate. You can also use it tomark up documents and take handwritten notes.

To use your Apple Pencil 2,you’ll need to connect it to your iPad Pro. Follow these steps to do so:

-Turn on your iPad Pro and unlock it.
-Make sure that Bluetooth is turned on your iPad Pro. You can do this by going to Settings > Bluetooth.
-Remove the cap from the back of your Apple Pencil 2, then insert the Lightning connector into the Lightning port on your iPad Pro until it clicks into place.
-When prompted, tap Continue and then follow the onscreen instructions to pair your Apple Pencil 2 with your iPad Pro.
