How to Connect Apple Music to Alexa

Can’t figure out how to connect your Apple Music account to your Amazon Alexa device? Here’s a quick and easy guide on how to do it.

Open apple music app

Open the Apple Music app.

Tap For You, Browse, or Radio at the bottom of the screen.

Tap , then tap your photo.

Scroll down and tap Devices. If you don’t see Devices, tap , then tap Edit Profile. Under Subscriptions, turn on Send Up Next Notifications.

If you have an Android device, open the Apple Music app and tap Menu > Account > Devices > Allow SendUp Next Notifications.

Tap the menu button.

2. Scroll down and tap Settings.
3. Tap MUSIC & MEDIA.
4. Toggle the switch on for Amazon Music.

Tap Settings.

To connect your Apple Music account:

1. Tap the Settings icon.
2. Scroll down and tap Accounts & Passwords.
3. Tap Add Account, then tap Other.
4. Tap Add Subscribed Calendar, then enter your Apple Music email address and password.
5. Tap Next, then wait for Mail to verify your account.
6. Tap Save, then tap Done to return to the previous screen.

Tap Music Services.

If you’re using an iPhone, iPad,ipod touch or Android device, open the Alexa app Tap the menu button , and then tap Music & Media. If you’re using a desktop browser, open the left navigation panel.
Tap Music Services.

Under “Music Providers,” tap Apple Music.

Enter apple id and password, then tap Sign In.

If prompted, choose whether to allow Alexa to access your music.

You may need to complete other steps before you start playing music from Apple Music on your Echo device. For example, you may need to choose which speakers to use or enable hands-free mode.

Tap Amazon Music.

If you have an Amazon Music Unlimited Individual or Family plan, you can stream on your compatible Echo device without ads. You can also play songs, albums, playlists, and stations from Apple Music.

Here’s how to connect your Apple Music account to your Echo device:

1. Open the Alexa app on your iPhone or iPad.

2. Tap the music icon in the bottom left corner of the app.

3. In top right corner of the screen, tap the menu icon (three dots).

4. Tap Settings.

Tap CONNECT.

To connect your Apple Music account to your Amazon Echo, follow these steps:

1. Open the Alexa app on your mobile device.
2. Tap the menu icon in the top-left corner of the screen (three horizontal lines).
3. Tap Settings.
4. Tap Music & Podcasts.
5. Tap Link New Service under Account Settings.
6. Tap Apple Music.
7. Enter apple id and password, then tap Sign In.
8. Tap Allow to grant Alexa access to your Apple Music account information.

In order to connect your Apple Music account to Alexa, you will need to use the Amazon Alexa app.

Open the Amazon Alexa app on your mobile device. Tap the menu button in the top-left corner of the screen. Tap Settings. Tap Music & Media. Tap Add Service. Select Apple Music from the list of options. Enter your Apple ID and password. Tap Sign In.

Tap Sign In.

1. Download the Amazon Alexa app on your iOS device.
2. Open the app and sign in with your Amazon account.
3. Tap the menu button in the top-left corner of the screen.
4. Select “Settings.”
5. Scroll down to the “Music & Podcasts” section and tap “Apple Music.”
6. Tap “Sign In.”
7. Enter your Apple ID and password when prompted, then tap “Sign In.”
8. You’ll be asked if you want to merge your Apple Music account with your Amazon account; tap “Merge Account” if you do, or “Cancel” if you don’t want to do this.
9. Tap “Enable Skill” to enable the Apple Music skill for Alexa. This will allow you to control Apple Music with your voice using Alexa-enabled devices.

Tap Allow.

under the “Apple Music” section, toggle the switch on. This will allow Apple Music to be used as a music provider in the Alexa app.

Tap the menu button.

To get started, open the Amazon Alexa app on your iPhone or iPad.

Then, tap the menu button in the top-left corner of the screen.

From the menu, select “Settings.”

On the Settings screen, scroll down and select “Music & Media.”

On the Music & Media screen, scroll down and select “Link New Service.”

On the Link New Service screen, select “Apple Music.”

You’ll then be prompted to sign in to your Apple Music account. Once you’re signed in, you’ll need to give Alexa permission to access your Apple Music account. Tap “Allow” when prompted.

Tap Settings.

If you don’t see the Service tab, open the Music app, then tap the Listen Now tab.

Tap Settings, then scroll down and tap Accounts.

Tap Add Account, then tap Sign In. If you don’t have apple music subscription tap CREATE NEW ACCOUNT and follow the onscreen instructions.

Enter your Apple ID and password, then tap Sign In. If you have an expiration date for your password or for Two-Factor Authentication, enter it when prompted.

Tap Music Services.

On the Settings screen, tap Music.

On the Music screen, tap the name of the music service you want to connect to Alexa. If you don’t see your service, tap Add New Service and then select your service.

If you’re not already signed in to your account for that service, enter your credentials and then tap Allow or Sign In. If you have an Echo device with a screen, you might need to enter a code to complete the connection.

Tap Amazon Music.

With Apple Music on your Amazon Echo, you can stream any song, album, or playlist from Apple Music’s massive catalog. And with Amazon Alexa, you can enjoy hands-free control of your music—search for artists, albums, and songs; browse Apple Music’s For You recommendations; and more. Here’s how to connect your account and start listening.

To connect your Apple Music account:

1. Open the Amazon Music app on your iOS device.
2. Tap the menu icon (three horizontal lines) in the top-left corner.
3. Tap Settings.
4. Tap Account Settings.
5. Tap Connections.

Tap the switch next to Alexa.

If you don’t see the switch, tap Update and then try again.
