Looking to use your AirPods with your Apple Watch? Here’s how to make the connection start enjoying your favorite tunes on the go!

Open the AirPods case.
Open the AirPods case. The status light should flash white.
On apple watch go to the Control Center.
Tap the audio source button .
Tap “AirPods”.
1. Press and hold the setup button on the back of the case. The case’s status light will flash white and then begin flashing amber, indicating the case is in pairing mode.
2. On apple watch go to Settings > Bluetooth.
3. Under My Devices, select your AirPods.
4. When asked, enter the four-digit code on your AirPods Case.
The status light on the front of the case will flash white.
On your iPhone, open the watch app
Tap the watch tab then tap your watch at the top of the screen.
Tap AirPods.
Tap Connect AirPods.
Place your AirPods in their case—lid open—near apple watch The case’s status light should flash white. If it doesn’t, check that Bluetooth is turned on both on your iPhone and watch, and that your watch is connected to your iPhone. If you still can’t connect, restart both devices.
Once connected, you see a message on your watch face that says “AirPods are connected.” You might also see an animation of the charging case opening and closing next to the battery level indicator on Apple Watch Series 2 or later or Apple Watch SE.
Open the Settings app on your Apple Watch.
Tap Bluetooth. If you don’t see “Bluetooth,” tap the top of the watch face, then tap the Bluetooth control.
Tap the info button next to your AirPods in the Devices list.
Tap Forget This Device, then tap to confirm.
Press and hold the connected button on your AirPods case until you see status light flash white Then on your iPhone, open the case lid—you should see a popup asking if you want to connect your AirPods to your Apple Watch. Tap Connect, then wait for a few seconds for the connection to complete.
Tap Bluetooth.
On your Apple Watch, open the Settings app.
Tap Bluetooth.
Tap the info button next to your AirPods ( oval with “i” inside).
Tap Connect to Apple Watch. You might be asked to enter a passcode on your AirPods.

Tap the name of your AirPods in the list of devices.
If you have AirPods (1st or 2nd generation), make sure that your Mac is running macOS Sierra 10.12.5 or later, or use the latest version of watchOS on your Apple Watch. With AirPods (2nd generation), you can also use Siri to activate noise control.
To pair and connect your AirPods to your Apple Watch:
Put your AirPods in the charging case, then open the lid.
Bring your AirPods close to your iPhone.
Tap the info button next to your AirPods, then tap Forget This Device.
On your Apple Watch, go to Settings > Bluetooth.
Tap the name of your AirPods in the list of devices.
If you don’t see your AirPods listed, make sure that bothyour AirPods and charging case are charged, then put them back in the case and wait a few seconds before opening the lid.
The AirPods will connect to your Apple Watch.
Assuming you have an Apple Watch with cellular connectivity and the AirPods, you can use the AirPods while away from your iPhone. The first thing you need to do is to unpair your AirPods from your iPhone (go to the Bluetooth settings page and select the “i” next to your AirPods and then click “Forget This Device”). Once they are unpaired, put them back in the charging case and close the lid.
Open up the Watch app on your iPhone and go to My Watch > Bluetooth. You should see your AirPods listed as available devices. Select them and then tap “Connect.” Your AirPods will now be connected to your Apple Watch.
