How to unpair apple watch from your iPhone

Open watch app on your iPhone.

Tap the watch tab

Tap All Watches, then tap the info button next to the watch that you want to unpair.

Tap Unpair Apple Watch, then tap again to confirm.

How to erase all content and settings from your Apple Watch

1. On your iPhone, open the Apple Watch app.
2. Tap the My Watch tab, then tap General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings.
3. If you have an iPhone passcode or an Apple Watch passcode set, you’ll be asked to enter it.
4. Tap Erase All.
5. Wait for the process to finish, then tap Set Up as New Apple Watch.

How to restart your Apple Watch

If your Apple Watch needs a start or you want to sell or give it away, you should unpair it from your iPhone. Unpairing will erase all of the content and data on your Watch and return it to its factory default settings.

Before you unpair, you need to back up your Apple Watch. Here’s how:

1. On your iPhone, open the Watch app again.
2. Tap the My Watch tab, then go to General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings.
3. If asked for a confirmation, tap Erase All; otherwise wait for the process to finish.

How to factory reset your Apple Watch
