How to Clear an App on Your Apple Watch

Open watch app on your iPhone.

Open the Watch app on your iPhone. Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and tap the entry for Storage. You’ll see how much space is available, as well as a list of apps and their sizes.

Tap an app’s name to see more information about it, including how much space it’s taking up. To delete an app, tap the Delete App button. (You can also delete multiple apps at once by tapping Edit in the upper-right corner and then tapping the Delete button next to each app you want to get rid of.)

Tap the watch tab

On your iPhone, open apple watch app.

Tap the My Watch tab, then tap an app.

Once you’ve backed up your watch (and your iPhone), follow these steps to reset it:

1. Open the Settings app on your Apple Watch.
2. Scroll down to the bottom and tap the entry for Reset.
3. Tap the option to Erase All Content and Settings.
4. Enter your passcode when prompted, then tap Erase Everything to confirm.
5. Wait for your Apple Watch to restart; when it’s finished, you can set it up as new or restore from a backup.

Tap Erase All Content and Settings.

Erasing all content and settings on your Apple Watch will delete everything stored on it, including any activity data, personalized settings, installed apps, and saved passwords. If you plan to sell or give away your Apple Watch, or if you’re having major software issues and want start from scratch, you can choose to erase everything.

1. Open the Settings app on your Apple Watch.
2. Tap General.
3. Scroll down and tap Reset.
4. Tap Erase All Content and Settings.
5. Enter your passcode when prompted, then tap Erase All to confirm.
6. Wait for the process to complete; this can take a while depending on how much data is stored on your watch.
