There are a few different ways that you can check your heart rate on apple watch If you are just looking for a quick reading, you can simply open the Heart Rate Glance. To do this, swipe up from the bottom of your watch face to access the Glances.

Set up the Health app on your iPhone

The Health app gathers health data from your iPhone,apple watch and apps that you already use, so that you can view all your progress in one convenient place.

If you don’t have an iPhone, you can still use the Health app on apple watch to track your fitness and activity goals. Just set up the Health app on your iPhone to get started.

1. Open the Health app on your iPhone.
2. Tap the Browse tab.
3. Tap a category, then tap an item.
4. Turn on Show on Dashboard.

Set up workout app on your Apple Watch

Before you can check your heart rate, you need to set up the Workout app on your Apple Watch. Open the app, then tap “Workouts.” Next, tap “Heart Rate.”

If you haven’t already, you’ll need to give the app permission to measure your heart rate. To do this, tap “OK” when prompted.

How to Use the Health App

If you have an Apple Watch, you can track your HR through the Health app. Here’s how: Go to the Health app on your iPhone and tap “Sources.” Tap “Edit” in top right corner Scroll down and tap “Heart Rate.” Turn on the switch next to “Heart Rate.”

Scroll down and tap “Heart.”

Tap “All Health Data,” then select “Show on Dashboard.”

If you don’t see Heart Rate, tap Edit in the upper-right corner and add it to your Dashboard.

To check your heart rate, first open the Health app and tap the “Heart Rate” tab. Then, place your finger on the large circle at the bottom of the screen. You’ll see your current heart rate in beats per minute (bpm) at the top of the screen.

4. You’ll see your current, average, and maximum heart rates, as well as a graph of your heart rate data over time.

How to Use the Workout App

The Workout app on your Apple Watch can be a great tool to track your HR while working out. To get started, open the app and select the “Outdoor Walk” or “Indoor Walk” workout. From there, you can choose the type of workout you want to do. If you’re not sure which one to pick, tap “Other.”

Once you’ve selected a workout, tap “Start.”

Check your heart rate

There are two ways to check your heart rate with the Workout app on your Apple Watch:
– During a workout, swipe left on the screen to check your heart rate.
– When you’re not in a workout, open the app and tap the Heart Rate tile.

Your Apple Watch uses green LED lights shining onto your skin to detect the amount of blood flowing through your veins. It then uses that information — along with an accelerometer — to estimate how many times your heart is beating per minute.
