If your remote is damaged, you may need to get a new one

There are three ways to charge your Apple TV remote: using the Lightning port, using a USB port, or using AA batteries. If your remote is damaged, you may need to get a new one.

If you have an Apple TV (3rd generation), you can charge your remote by plugging it into the USB port on your Apple TV. If you have an Apple TV (4th generation), you can charge your remote by plugging it into the Lightning port on your Apple TV. You can also charge your remote by plugging it into a USB port on your computer or other device.

If you’re using batteries to power your remote, you can recharge them by placing them in the included battery charging dock.

Keep your remote in a safe place when you’re not using it

When you’re not using your Apple TV remote, it’s a good idea to keep it in a safe place. If you have young children or pets, you may want to keep it out of their reach. You can also charge your remote by placing it on a charging station or by connecting it to a power source with the included Lightning cable.

Be careful not to drop or damage your remote

Be careful not to drop or damage your remote while reconnecting the battery. If the adhesive strip comes loose, it can cause the battery to come out of the remote.

The Apple TV remote is designed to work with lithium-ion batteries. If you need to replace the battery, follow these steps:

1.Turn your remote over and remove the back cover. You might need a small tool, like a paper clip, to help remove the cover.

2.Remove the old battery by gently pulling it out of the remote. Be careful not to lose the small black spacer that’s under the battery.

3.Insert the new battery, positive side up, making sure it fits snugly under the SpringLoaded ribbon connector and into place on top of the small black spacer. If you’re having trouble getting the new battery in place, try gently bending back and forth on each side of the housing until it pops open slightly. This will give you enough room to insert the new battery without damaging your remote.

4.Replace the back cover and make sure it snaps shut completely
