How to Change Your Move Goal on Apple Watch

Are you trying to meet a move goal on apple watch but finding it difficult? Here’s a quick guide on how to change your move goal to make it more achievable.

Open the Settings app on your iPhone.

If you want to change your move goal, you need to do it on your iPhone. First, open the Settings app. Tap “General,” then “About.” Scroll down to “Move Goal.”

Tap “Move Goal.” You can either enter a new number of calories or use the plus and minus buttons to adjust your goal. When you’re finished, tap “Set.”

Tap the Privacy tab.

In watch app on your iPhone, tap the watch tab then tap Passcode. If you don’t see a Passcode setting, your watch doesn’t have passcode protection.

Tap Change Passcode, then enter a new four-digit passcode when prompted.

Tap Location Services.

Open the Settings app on apple watch Scroll down and tap Privacy. Tap Location Services. Scroll down to System Services and turn on the move goal setting that you want to use.

Scroll down and tap System Services.

If you want to adjust your Move goal, you can do so right from apple watch Just follow these steps:

1. Open the Settings app on your Apple Watch.
2. Scroll down and tap System Services.
3. Make sure that the toggle next to fitness Tracking is enabled.
4. Scroll down and tap on Move Goal. You can also adjust other activity-related settings here, such as Stand reminders and calories burned per day.
5. Use the + and – buttons to adjust your Move goal. You can also tap on Customize goal to set a specific number of active calories burned per day.
6. Once you’re done, tap on Save in top right corner of the screen

Tap Motion & Fitness.

On your iPhone, open the Settings app. Tap Privacy > Motion & Fitness. Turn on Fitness Tracking and Share with Apps. On your Apple Watch, open the Settings app. Tap Privacy > Motion & Fitness. Turn on Activity Tracking and Share with Apps.*

With your iPhone, go to the Health app and tap Sources in the bottom-left corner. Turn on the switches for any apps that track fitness or motion data—like steps, distance walked, or flights of stairs climbed—that you want to add to Health.

Turn off the Fitness Tracking switch.

If you need to take a break from fitness tracking, you can quickly turn off the feature by following these steps:

1. Open the Settings app on your Apple Watch.
2. Tap Privacy > Fitness Tracking.
3. Turn off the Fitness Tracking switch.

When you’re ready start tracking your fitness again, just follow the same steps and turn on the switch.
