If you’re interested in changing your step goal apple watch read this blog post for a step-by-step guide.

Open the Activity app on your iPhone.
Select the “My Watch” tab, then scroll down and select “General.”
Tap “Unit of Measure” and then “Step Goal.” From here, you can either adjust your step goal up or down by 10 percent, or you can enter a custom step goal.
Tap the Awards tab.
Awards are determined by the step goals that you set for yourself. You can change your step goal at any time, apple watch will automatically update your awards to reflect your new goal.
To change your step goal:
1. Tap the Awards tab.
2. Tap Change Goal.
3. Use the plus and minus buttons to set a new step goal, then tap Save.
Scroll down and tap Change Goals.
If you’d like to adjust your step goal, do the following:
1. Open the Health app on your iPhone.
2. Tap the Today tab, then tap your user profile picture at the top of the screen.
3. Scroll down and tap Change Goals.
4a. If you want to change your calorie goal, tap Active Calories or Net Calories, then enter a new number of calories.
4b. If you want to change your exercise goal, tap Exercise Time or Stand Hours, then enter a new number of hours.
4c. If you want to change your step goal, tap Steps, then enter a new number of steps.
5. Tap Save in the upper-right corner when you’re done making changes to save your new goals.
Tap Edit next to Move Goal.
1. On your iPhone, open the Health app.
2. Tap the Today tab, then tap your profile picture or initials.
3. Under Fitness, tap Stand, then tap Edit next to Move Goal.
4. Tap a new goal, then tap Save in the upper right corner of the screen.
Apple Watch lets you change your step goal, or how many steps you want to walk each day. Here’s how:
1. Press the digital crown to go to the app grid.
2. Tap Settings.
3. Tap Activity.
4. Scroll down and tap Step Goal.
5. Use the + and – buttons to adjust your step goal.
6. Tap Done when you’re finished making changes.
Tap Done.
When you finish, tap Done.
