How to Change Your Exercise Goal on Apple Watch

Open apple watch app on your iPhone.

Open the watch app on your iPhone.

Tap the watch tab

Tap Workout.

Tap Change Workout Goal.

Enter a new calorie, time, or distance goal, then tap Save.

Tap the My Watch tab.

On your iPhone, open the Apple Watch app.
Tap the My Watch tab, then tap Health > Edit.
Under Active Calories or Exercise, tap the goal, then tap a new goal.
When you’re finished, tap Done.

Scroll down and tap Workout.

Under the Exercise heading, you’ll see your current Activity goal for the day. By default, this is set to 30 minutes, but you can change it to anything from 10 minutes to 60 minutes, in 10-minute increments. Just tap on the figure and use the minus and plus buttons to adjust it.

Tap Change Goals.

1. Tap Change Goals.
2. If prompted, enter apple id password.
3. Tap Edit next to the goal that you want to change, then tap one of the following:
– Calories: Choose a new active calorie goal.
– Exercise: Choose a new minute goal.
– Stand: Choose a new stand goal.
4. When you’re done, tap Save.

Tap the goal that you want to change.

If you want to change the amount of calories that you burn, the distance that you walk, or the number of minutes that you stand in a day, you can adjust your goal. Just remember to give yourself a realistic goal so that you don’t get discouraged!

Here’s how:

Open the Activity app on your Apple Watch.
Tap the goal that you want to change.
Tap Edit.
Use the + and – buttons to adjust your goal.
Tap Save.

Turn on or off the Show on Dashboard toggle switch.

The Show on Dashboard toggle switch is turned on by default. When it’s on, your goal appears on the Dashboard each time you open workout app If you don’t want to see your goal every time you open the app, turn this toggle switch off.

Use the + and – buttons to set your calorie, time, or distance goal.

On your Apple Watch, go to the Workout app.

Tap the goal type that you want to change. If you can’t tap Change Goal, tap, then tap an option under Workout Goal. If you don’t see Change Goal, swipe up on the watch face, then tap the goal type that you want to change.

Use the + and – buttons to set your calorie, time, or distance goal.

Tap Update.

Tap Save.

After you complete the steps above, your new goal will be set and you start working towards earning your badge (and improving your health).

To change your goal, tap the “Change Goal” button, then enter a new number of steps, calories, or time that you’d like to aim for. You can also choose to receive notifications when you reach half of your goal, or when you’re close to reaching your goal.
