How to Change Your Apple ID Email

If you’re using apple id associated with a Gmail, Yahoo, or other email service, you can change apple id to a different third-party email address.

Open Settings

Open Settings, and tap [your name]. If you’re using iOS 10.3 or earlier, tap iCloud.

Tap the email address that you want to change.

Tap Edit, then enter the new email address that you want to use.

A verification code is sent to your new email address. Enter the verification code, then tap Verify.
From now on, you can use your new email address to sign in to apple id account page at appleid.apple.com and make purchases in the iTunes Store and App Store.

Tap on your name

In order to change your Apple ID email address, which is also known as your iCloud email address, you need to sign in to apple id account page

Once you’re signed in, tap on your name in the top right-hand corner. From the dropdown menu, select “Account.”

On the next page, scroll down to the “iCloud” section and tap on “Change Email Address.”

Enter the new email address that you want to use as your Apple ID and then click on “Save.”

Tap on “Edit” next to your current email address

If you need to change your Apple ID email address for any reason, it’s actually pretty easy to do right from your iPhone. Here’s how!

First, open the Settings app and tap on apple id banner at the top.

Then, tap on “Edit” next to your current email address.

Now, enter in your new email address twice to confirm it.

You’ll also need to enter in a recovery email address in case you forget your password or need to reset it. This can be any email address that you have access to.

Once you’re finished, tap on “Done” in the top right corner.

Enter the new email address you want to use

It’s easy to change the email address that you use as your Apple ID. Here’s how:

Sign in to your Apple ID account page.
In the Account section, click Edit.
Under your Apple ID, click Change Email Address.
Enter the new email address you want to use.
A confirmation email will be sent to your new email address. Click Verify to confirm that you own the account.

You can also change your Apple ID from your device:

On an iPhone, iPad, ipod touch with iOS 10.3 or later:
Go to Settings > [your name].
Tap Edit next to the current email address. If you don’t see Edit, tap > under your Apple ID.
Enter the new email address you want to use.*
A confirmation email will be sent to your new email address. Tap Verify in the email** then follow the steps on your device if prompted for a password security questions *You can’t change your primary Apple ID on an iPhone that’s using Find My iPhone Activation Lock.* **Or if you don’t have access to the new email address yet, you can verify by answering two security questions.*

Tap “Done”

You can change the email address that you use as your Apple ID. Here’s how:

1. Tap Settings > [your name].
2. Tap Name, Phone Numbers, Email > Edit.
3. Under Contactable At, tap the Apple ID that you want to change. If you don’t see the one that you want to change, tap Add Email or Phone Number and enter the new address or phone number.
4. When you’re done, tap Done.
