Follow these steps to change apple id password. If you’re using an Apple product such as an iPhone, iPad, or Mac, you can change your password in Settings.

Open the Settings app.
At the top of the screen, tap your name, then tap Password & Security. If you have an iPhone 6s or later, or iPad with Touch ID, you use touch id instead of a password. Tap Change Password, then enter the new password that you want to use.
Tap Accounts & Passwords.
If you’re using iOS 10.3 or later:
Go to Settings > [your name]. Tap Password & Security. Tap Change Password.
If you’re using iOS 10.2 or earlier:
Go to Settings > iCloud > tap apple id > Password & Security. Tap Change Password.
If you’re using an iPhone 6s or later, you can use 3D Touch to change your password:
Go to Settings > [your name] > Password & Security. Press and hold Change Password, then tap Change Password.
Tap Change Password.
If you’re signed in to your device with apple id and password, you might be asked to enter your password again.
Tap Change Password. If you’using ios 11 or earlier, tap Done after you change your password. If you’re using iOS 12 or later, tap Change or Change Password.
Follow the instructions to change your password.
Enter your current password, then enter a new password and confirm the new password.
If you know your current password, you can change it:
Tap Change or Change Password.
If you want to change your password for any reason, simply follow the steps below.
-Open Settings and select Accounts & Passwords.
-Tap Change or Change Password.
-Enter your current password followed by the new one you wish to use.
That’s all there is to it! From now on, you will use your new password whenever you need to log into your Apple account.
