How to Change Your Apple Music Payment Method

You can change apple music subscription to a different payment method by following these simple steps.

Open the Settings app.

Open the Settings app. Tap your name, then tap iTunes & App Store. Tap apple id tap view apple id You might be asked to sign in. Tap Manage Payments. (If you’re using an older version of iOS, tap Payment Information.) If you see Add Payment Method, tap it and follow the instructions. If you don’t see Add Payment Method or are asked to use a different payment method when redeeming a gift card,contact apple support

Tap your name.

In the Music app on your iPhone, iPad,ipod touch or Android device, tap the Menu button , then tap your name.

You might be asked to sign in with your Apple ID. If use family sharing and you’re the family organizer, you can’t change your country or region. To change these settings, follow these steps:

Tap Settings > [your name], then tap Family Sharing. Tap your name as the family organizer, then tap View Account. On the Account Settings screen, scroll to Country/Region and tap Change Country or Region. If you don’t see Country/Region,contact apple support Select your new country or region, then tap Next. Review the Terms and Conditions and Apple Privacy Policy, then tap Agree if you agree. Follow the onscreen instructions to enter your billing information and complete the change to your new country or region.

Tap iTunes & App Store.

If you need to change or update your payment information, such as your credit card number or billing address, follow these steps:

1.Go to Settings > [your name] > iTunes & App Store.
2.Tap your Apple ID at the top of the screen.
3.Tap View Apple ID. You might be asked to enter your password.
4.Tap Payment Information, then change or remove your information.5.When you’re finished, tap Done.

Alternatively, you can change your payment information from the iTunes Store app:
1.Open the iTunes Store app, then tap More > Accounts > View My Account.
2.Sign in with your Apple ID, then tap View Account.
3.Tap Edit to the right of Payment Type.
4.Choose a new payment method and enter the required information to add a new credit card or PayPal account*. Then tap Done to save your changes.*Depending on which country or region you live in, you might not be able to add a PayPal account as a payment method for an Apple Music subscription.*

If you see Apple Pay after the last 4 digits of your card number, go to Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay and make sure that Wallet & Apple Pay is turned on for that card.*

Tap your Apple ID.

If you need to change or update your payment method, you can do so right from your iPhone or iPad. Just follow the steps below.

1. Open the Settings app on your device and tap on your Apple ID at the top.
2. Tap on View Apple ID and enter your password if prompted.
3. Tap on Payment Information and then select a new payment method.
4. You can choose from credit/debit card, PayPal, or even an Apple Store Gift Card.
5. Once you’ve selected a new payment method, enter the necessary information and tap Done in the top right corner of the screen.

Tap View Apple ID. You might need to sign in or use Touch ID.

Tap Payment Information, then change orremove your information. To add a payment method, tap Add Payment Method. To update a payment method, tap the payment method, then edit your information.

You can have multiple payment methods on file, but only one can be the primary payment method. The primary payment method is the one that’s automatically charged first when you make a purchase or incur other charges on your Apple ID, such as when you make an in-app purchase.

Tap Payment Information.

If you’re an Apple Music subscriber, you can change the payment information that you have on file for your Apple Music subscription. To change your payment information, follow the steps below.

1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
2. Tap your name at the top of the screen.
3. Tap Payment Information. If you don’t see Payment Information, tap Add Payment Method or Edit next to the payment method that you want to change.
4. Update your payment method details and tap Done.

You can also change your payment information from iTunes on your Mac or PC:

1. Open iTunes and sign in with your Apple ID.
2. From the menu bar at the top of the screen, choose Account > View My Account.
3. Scroll down to the Settings section and click Manage next to Subscriptions.
4. Click Edit next to your Apple Music subscription and update your payment method details from there.

You can update your Apple Music subscription payment method on iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, or PC. If you’re being charged for a subscription, but you don’t see it in your list of subscriptions, make sure that you’re signed in with the correct Apple ID.

On iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
Open the Settings app. Tap your name. Tap Subscriptions. Tap the subscription that you want to manage. Use the options to manage your subscription. You can choose a different subscription period, or turn off Auto-Renewal altogether.

On your Mac
Open iTunes. From the menu bar at the top of your screen, choose Account > View My Account. On the Account Information page: To the right of Subscriptions, Click Manage. To the right of your current subscription(s), click Edit . If you don’t see a subscription but are being charged for one, make sure that you’re signed in with the correct Apple ID and check again. You might have subscribed directly with the provider and not through iTunes.. On your PC
Open iTunes for Windows. From the menu bar at the top of the iTunes window, choose Edit > Preferences.. Click Accounts (in some older versions of iTunes), then click your Apple ID .. Under Subscriptions , click Manage .. If asked for a password before seeing View Account , enter it now… If there’s no subscription listed here When there’s no subscription listed under Subscriptions , but there’s a Legacy Products listing further down in this same pane where Payment Type is set to “Purchase” , then what it’s called is actually just an individual song or album purchase with an entry listed as “Buy More Songs” at below this item; hover over any such “Buy More Songs” button and click on X to cancel this sort of purchase completely:

Tap Done.

Here’s how to change your payment information on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Mac.

Open the Settings app. Tap iTunes & App Store. Tap your Apple ID at the top of the screen. If you’re using iOS 10.3 or earlier, tap Account > View Apple ID. If you’re using iOS 11 or later and you have multiple Sign in with Apple IDs, tap your profile photo > Name, Phone Numbers, Email.

Tap Edit Payment Information. If you want to remove your payment method, select None. Otherwise, enter your new payment information and tap Done.

If you have an unpaid balance or your payment method was declined, you might see a message that says “You must verify your payment method.” Tap Update in the message to update your payment method.
