How to Change Your Apple ID Password on iPhone

Is apple id password no longer working? Here’s how to change it on your iPhone so you start using your account again.

Open the Settings app.

Open the Settings app on your iPhone. Scroll down and tap “Passwords & Security.” Tap “Change Password.” Enter your current password, then enter a new password and confirm the new password. Tap “Change” to update your password.

Tap your name.

Tap your name. You’ll find this option at the top of the Settings menu. Doing so opens apple id profile page.
If you’re not already signed in to apple id tap Sign In, then enter apple id and password and tap Sign In again.
Tap Password & Security. It’s near the top of the page.
Tap Change Password. This option is below your current password on the Password & Security page.
Enter a new password, then enter it again to confirm it. Make sure that your new password meets Apple’s password requirements.
Tap Change or Change Password when prompted. This option is below your new password on the Password & Security page; doing so changes your password immediately.”

Tap Password & Security.

1. Open the Settings app.
2. Tap your name at the top of the screen.
3. Tap Password & Security. If you can’t see this option, it means that your device doesn’t support two-factor authentication or that it’s already turned on for your Apple ID.
4. If you’re asked to enter your passcode or password, enter it now to continue.
5. Tap Change Password.
6. Enter a new password and confirm it by entering it again in the field provided. Your new password must be at least eight characters long and contain at least one letter and one number.
7. Tap Change or Change Password to confirm.

Tap Change Password.

If you want to change apple id password on your iPhone, you can do so in the Settings app. Here’s how:

1. Open the Settings app.

2. Tap your name at the top of the screen.

3. Tap Password & Security.

4. Tap Change Password.

5. Enter your current password, then enter a new password and confirm it.

6. Tap Change or Change Password to confirm.

Enter your current password or device passcode, then enter a new password and confirm the new password.

Tap [your name].
Tap Password & Security.
Tap Change Password.
Enter your current password or device passcode, then enter a new password and confirm the new password.

Tap Change or Change Password.

If you’re using iOS 10.3 or later, tap Settings > [your name] > Password & Security. If you’re using iOS 10.2 or earlier, tap Settings > iCloud > Password & Security.

Tap Change or Change Password.

If you have an iPhone with Touch ID and you changed your password, you’ll be asked to enter apple id password again with Touch ID.

Enter your new password and confirm it by entering it again. Tap Done.
