How to Change Your Apple ID Password

It’s important to keep apple id password secure, and changing it on a regular basis is a good way to do that. Here’s how to change apple id password

Open Settings.

1.Open Settings.
2.Tap your name at the top of settings.
3.Tap “Password & Security.”
4.Under “Frequently Asked Questions apple id ” tap “Change your password.”
5.Enter your current password or device passcode, then enter a new password and confirm the new password.

Open the Settings app. Tap “Your Name,” then tap “Password & Security.” Tap “Change Password.” Enter your current password, then enter a new password and confirm the new password.

If you suspect that apple id has been compromised, or you simply want to change your password for peace of mind, follow these steps.

1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad and tap on your name at the top.

2. On the next screen, tap Password & Security.

3. On the Password & Security screen, scroll down and tap Change Password.

4. Enter your current password when prompted and then type in your new password twice. Tap Change or Done when finished.

Open the Settings app. Tap [your name], then tap Password & Security. If you’re using iOS 10.3 or earlier, tap Settings > iCloud > your Apple ID > Password & Security. If you’re using an iCloud Keychain-enabled device, you might need to enter apple id password first.

Tap Change Password, then enter the new password that you want to use.

Resetting your password is a two-step process that starts with “Submit a form.” After you submit the form, we’ll send an email to the address associated with your Apple ID. The second step is to enter the six-digit verification code that we send you and choose a new password.

Tap Change or Change Password.

If you’re using iOS 10.3 or later, tap Settings > [your name]. If you’re using iOS 10.2 or earlier, tap Settings > iCloud > [your name].

Tap Password & Security. If you have two-factor authentication turned on, you’ll need to enter your passcode.

Tap Change Password. If you have apple watch and are signed in with your Apple ID, you need to enter your passcode on your iPhone to change your password.

Enter a new password and confirm it by entering it again. Tap Change or Change Password to update your password.
