Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to cast content from your iPhone, iPad, or Mac to apple tv

Open the Control Center.
start make sure that apple tv and iOS device are on the same Wi-Fi network. Then, open Control Center on your iOS device,tap screen mirroring tap Apple TV, and enter the four-digit code that appears on your TV screen.
Select the Screen Mirroring option.
On your Apple TV, go to Settings > AirPlay > Room and select the room where you want to use AirPlay.
Open Control Center, then tap .
Tap , then select your Apple TV. If you don’t see your Apple TV, make sure that your iPhone, iPad, ipod touch is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your Apple TV.
Select the Screen Mirroring option.
Choose your Apple TV.
If you have an Apple TV, you can use it to watch content from your iPhone, iPad, or Mac. Here’s how:
1. Open the app or video that you want to watch.
2. Tap or click .
3. Tap or click your Apple TV.
Open the app that you want to share. For example, open Photos to share a photo, or Safari to share a website.
Tap , then tap your Apple TV. If you don’t see your Apple TV, make sure that your iOS device is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your Apple TV.
The app will automatically begin playing on your Apple TV.
