How to Cancel Your Apple TV Subscription

If you’re no longer using your Apple TV, you can cancel your subscription to avoid being charged for future months. Here’s how to do it.

Cancelling Your Subscription

If you have an Apple TV and you want to cancel your subscription, you can do it in a few different ways. You can cancel your subscription through the Settings app on your Apple TV, through the TV app on your iOS device, or on the web at tv.apple.com. Let’s take a look at how to cancel your subscription in each of these places.

Log into apple id account

If you decide that you no longer want to use Apple TV+, follow the steps below to cancel your subscription.

Before you cancel
If you cancel, your subscription will stop at the end of the current billing cycle. You won’t be charged again, but you will still have access to Apple TV+ until the end of that billing cycle.

To cancel on your iPhone, iPad, ipod touch
1.Open the Settings app.
2.Tap your name at the top of the screen.
3.Tap Subscriptions. (If you don’t see “Subscriptions,” tap “iTunes & App Store” instead. Then tap apple id at the top of the screen tap view apple id Tap Subscriptions.)

Go to subscriptions

You can manage your Apple TV subscription from your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Mac. Or you can go to Settings on your Apple TV and select Users > your name > Subscriptions. If you’re being asked to confirm your payment information, make sure that your billing date, payment method, and contact information are correct.

Click on Apple TV

If you need to cancel your Apple TV subscription, you can do so from your Apple TV device. Here’s how:

-Open the Settings app on your Apple TV.
-Click on Accounts.
-Click on Subscriptions.
-Select the subscription you want to cancel and click Cancel Subscription.

Click cancel subscription

If you decide you don’t want to continue your subscription, you can cancel it at any time. Here’s how:

Open the Apple TV app.
From the menu bar at the top of your screen, select Account > View My Account.
Sign in with apple id and password.
Scroll to the Subscriptions section and click Manage.
Select your Apple TV+ subscription.
Click Cancel Subscription.

If you don’t see cancel, it means you have already used your free trial or are currently paying for a subscription via another method.

Refunds

It’s easy to cancel your Apple TV subscription. Just follow the steps below. You can also cancel your Apple TV subscription through your Apple ID account settings.

If you cancel within 24 hours of signing up

When you sign up for Apple TV+, you’re automatically charged the monthly price listed on your chosen plan. If you cancel within 24 hours of signing up, you might be eligible for a refund. After 24 hours, your account will continue to be charged until the end of the current billing cycle, even if you cancel.

To request a refund:

On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch:
Open the Settings app. Tap your name > iTunes & App Store. Tap your Apple ID > View Apple ID. You might be asked to sign in with your Apple ID. Tap Subscriptions > Apple TV+. Swipe left on the subscription that you want to manage, then tap Cancel Subscription. If you still see a charge after canceling an app subscription,contact apple support On your Mac or PC: Open iTunes and sign in with your Apple ID. From the menu bar at the top of your screen or at the top of the iTunes window, choose Account > View My Account. If you cancel after 24 hours of signing up

If you cancel more than 24 hours after you sign up for Apple TV+, you might be eligible for a refund. If we issue a refund, it is for the full price of the subscription, minus any discount or promotional pricing applied to the original subscription. For example, if you paid $9.99 per month, but then had a free trial period, we would refund the $9.99 that you paid.

We charge your payment method at the time of purchase, and then again 24 hours before your subscription renews each month. If we issue you a refund for a monthly subscription, your refund will be adjusted to reflect the amount of time left in your billing cycle plus any applicable pro-rating.
