How to Add Stops on Apple Maps

If you’re using Apple Maps and you need to add stops along your route, here’s a quick guide on how to do it.

Open the Maps app on your iPhone or iPad.

Open the Maps app on your iPhone or iPad. Tap the Search bar. Type in the first destination and tap Search. Tap the second destination. Tap Route. Tap the route you want to take, then tap Done.

To add a stop, first tap the Search bar. Then type in the name or address of your first destination and tap Search.

When find your destination, tap to select it, then tap Route.

Apple Maps will calculate the best route and give you turn-by-turn directions. To add a stop, tap , then type in the name or address of your next destination and tap Search.

When you find your next destination, tap to select it. You can also adjust the order of your destinations by tapping , then dragging a destination to a different position.

When you’re ready to go, tap Go.

Type in the name of the first place you want to visit.

When you open the Apple Maps app and search for a destination, the app will show you a route and provide turn-by-turn directions to your destination. If you want to make a stop along the way, you can add a stop to your route. Here’s how:

1. Open the Apple Maps app and search for your destination.
2. Tap on the route you want to take.
3. Tap on the Info button.
4. Tap on the Add Stop button.
5. Type in the name of the place you want to visit and tap Search.
6. Select the place from the search results and tap Add.
7. Repeat steps 5-7 for each stop you want to add.

Tap and hold the blue dot.

You can drop a pin on your current location by tapping and holding the blue dot. You can also add a stops by tapping and holding the blue dot, then dragging it to the desired location.

Drag the blue dot to the next place you want to visit.

If you’re planning a longer trip, you can add multiple stops. Here’s how:
1.Open Maps and enter your destination in the Search bar.
2.Tap Directions, then choose Drive, Walk, Transit, or Ride.
3.Tap the route you want to take, then tap Options.
4.Tap Add stop and enter another destination. To delete a stop, tap , then tap Delete stop.
5.When you’re ready start navigation, tap Go.

Tap Route.

If you want to add a stop on your route, follow these steps:

1.Tap Route.
2.Swipe up on the menu that appears, then tap Add Stop.
3.Tap the location where you want to stop, then tap Add.
4.When you’re done adding stops, tap Done.

Adding a stop on Apple Maps is easy and only takes a few seconds. The process is the same no matter if you’re using Apple Maps on your iPhone, iPad, ipod touch

To add a stop:
1. Open the Apple Maps app and enter your destination into the search bar.
2. Tap the Plus sign.
3. Tap Add Stop.
4. Enter the name of your stop or choose a suggested location, then tap Add.
5. Repeat steps 2-4 for each additional stop.

Type in the name of the next place you want to visit.

Open Maps and enter your destination in the search bar. Tap Directions, then choose Drive, Walk, Transit, or Ride. Tap the route you want to take, then tapDone.

To add a stop, tap , then enter the name or address of the new location. Tap Search, then choose the stop. To move a stop, touch and hold , then drag it up or down. To delete a stop, tap , then tap Delete Stop.

Adding a stop is easy on Apple Maps. All you have to do is search for your destination, tap the info button , and tap Add Stop.

If you want to remove a stop, just tap the info button and tap Remove Stop.

Tap the Plus sign.

When you’re planning a trip, you can add stops between your current location and your destination. This is handy if you need to gas up or grab coffee before you reach your final destination. Here’s how to do it:

1. Open Apple Maps and enter your destination.

2. Tap the Plus sign.

3. Enter a search term, like “coffee” or “gas station.”

4. Select a result from the list.

5. Tap Add to Route.

You can repeat this process to add additional stops along your route.

Type in the name of the last place you want to visit.

1. open the Apple Maps app and type in the name of the last place you want to visit
2. when the location appears, tap on the blue circle with the white arrow in it
3. a new screen will open up, scroll down and tap on “Add to route”
4. enter your starting point and destination
5. tap on “Route” in the top right corner
6. Apple Maps will show you the fastest route and estimated time of arrival

Tap Search.

In the search field at the top of the screen, type in the first destination you want to visit. You can also search for a point of interest, like a restaurant or gas station.

Tap Search.

Tap the route you want, then tap Done.

If there are multiple routes, you’ll see them at the bottom of the screen. Swipe left or right to see all of your options, then tap Done.

Tap Done.

Assuming you’ve already input your destination and origin points:

1. Open Apple Maps and start navigating to your destination.
2. Once you’ve started navigation, you’ll see a bar appear at the bottom of the screen with your route details.
3. Tap the bar, then tap plus sign next to “Stops.”
4. Type in the address or name of your first stop, then tap “Route” in the upper-right corner.
5. Tap “Add to route,” then type in your second stop and tap “Add to route” again.
6. Keep adding stops as needed, then tap “Done” when you’re finished.
