How to add the Exercise ring to apple watch

The Exercise ring on the Apple Watch tracks how much you move each day. To add this ring:

Go to the Health app on your iPhone

Open the Health app on your iPhone.
Tap the Summary tab, then tap Achievements.
Understand your progress.
Achievements are based on active minutes, standing hours, and distance moved.
Active minutes are tracked only when you wear your watch and track activity with Apple Watch using workout app or other apps that credit active calories to the ActivityRing. For more information about active calories, see the Apple Watch User Guide.

Standing hours are tracked when you wear your watch and it registers that you’ve stood for at least one minute during 12 different hours in the day. For more information about standing, see Get credit for standing up on Apple Watch.

Distance moved is tracked when you walk, run, or wheelchair-push with Apple Watch using the Workout app or other apps that credit distance to the ActivityRing.

It also considers whether you have an active lifestyle or a more sedentary one.
