If you have an iPhone SE, 6, 6 Plus, 6s Plus, 7, 8, 8 Plus or X, Apple will charge $49 to replace your battery. If your phone is an iPhone XS Max or XR, service will cost you $69.

For example, iFixit currently charges $69.95 to replace an iPhone 6s battery, $79.95 for an iPhone 6s Plus battery, and $89.95 for an iPhone 7 battery. In comparison, Apple charges $79 to replace an iPhone 6s battery, $99 for an iPhone 6s Plus, and $149 for an iPhone 7.


Apple charges $129 for an out-of-warranty iPhone battery replacement, which represents a $50 price drop from its original fee of $179. Apple began offering the discount after it was criticized for slowing down older iPhones with worn-out batteries.
