How Long Is Apple’s Warranty?

Apple’s warranty is a one-year limited warranty from the date of purchase. The warranty covers hardware defects that are not caused by accidental damage or user abuse.

Apple’s Limited Warranty

Apple’s limited warranty period for MacBooks, iPads, iPhones, iPods, and apple products is one year from the date of purchase. The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship, but it does not cover damage from accidental drops or spills. If you have an issue with your Apple product, you can contact Apple’s customer service to see if they can help you fix the problem.

Coverage

Apple warrants the Apple-branded hardware product and accessories contained in the original packaging (“Apple Product”) against defects in materials and workmanship when used normally in accordance with Apple’s published guidelines for a period of ONE (1) YEAR from the date of original retail purchase by the end-user purchaser (“Warranty Period”).

What’s Not Covered

Here are some examples of what is not covered under Apple’s Limited Warranty:
-Accidental damage
-Damage caused by abuse or misuse
-Damage caused by natural disasters
-Normal wear and tear

AppleCare+

Coverage

AppleCare+ for iPhone extends your coverage to two years from your iPhone purchase date* and adds up to two incidents of accidental damage coverage, each subject to a service fee of $19 for screen damage, or $39 for any other damage, plus applicable tax.2 In addition, you’ll get 24/7 priority access to Apple experts by chat or phone.3

Coverage includes the following:

-Your iPhone
-Battery
– Included earphones and accessories
-Repairs covered under the Apple Limited Warranty
– Hardware repairs covered by AppleCare+
– iPhone 7 and later can have their batteries replaced at no charge if they retain less than 80 percent of their original capacity.4
– Software support

– Get help with iCloud, iTunes, the App Store, iMessage, Siri, and more.5

What’s Not Covered

Every AppleCare+ plan provides repair or replacement coverage, both parts and labor, from Apple-authorized technicians. coverage includes:
-Phones
-iPads
-iPods
-Apple Watches
-Apple TV
-Headphones
coverage does not include:
-damage caused by accidents or abuse
-normal wear and tear
-cosmetic damage

AppleCare Protection Plan

AppleCare is an extended warranty plan offered by Apple that provides coverage for your iPhone, iPad, iPod, or Mac. The plan extends your coverage to two years from the purchase date of your Apple device. AppleCare also covers software support, hardware repairs, and technical support. What’s Not Covered

Your AppleCare Protection Plan or AppleCare+ covers additional hardware service issues that are not covered by the standard one-year limited warranty or 90 days of complimentary technical support.
