How long does an Apple refund usually take?

Apple says that refunds usually take between two and four weeks to process. If it’s been longer than that, might want to check with your bank or credit card company to see if the refund has been issued but is just taking longer than usual to show up on your statement.

How to get a refund from Apple

Here’s how to get a refund from Apple if you’re not happy with an app, movie, music, book, or other iTunes purchase.

First, you need to report the problem to Apple. You can do this either through the iTunes Store app on your device, or by visiting Apple’s Report a Problem website.

If you report the problem on your device, you’ll need to have the order number for the purchase handy. If you don’t have the order number, you can still report the problem, but it may take longer for Apple to process your request.

If you report the problem on Apple’s website, you’ll need Sign in with apple id and password. Once you’re signed in, you’ll be able to see all of your recent purchases. Select the purchase that you want a refund for and click “Report a Problem.”

Once you’ve reported the problem, Apple will investigate and decide whether or not to issue a refund. If a refund is issued, it will be processed within three to five business days.
