Open Settings
If you want to change your Apple ID, you can do so from your iPhone, iPad,ipod touch or Mac. Here’s how:
On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch:
Open the Settings app. Tap your name. Tap Account. Tap Change Apple ID. Enter the email address that you want to use as your new Apple ID. Tap Next. Enter your password and tap Sign In. If you don’t have icloud account or a different Apple ID:
On your Mac:
Open iTunes. From the menu bar at the top of your screen, choose Account > View My Account. Enter your password and click View Account. On theAccount Information page, click Edit in the right column next to Membership. Under Subscriptions, click Manage to the right of your current subscription(s). In the Edit window that appears, enter a different Apple ID in the field labeled Apple ID*. Click Done when finished making changes to return to Membership information page, then click Done one last time to close the window and return to iTunes
You can also change your Apple ID from icloud.com or appleid.apple.com
Tap your name
1. Open Settings, and tap [your name].
2. Tap Sign Out, then tap Sign In.
3. Enter your Apple ID and password, then tap Next. If you forgot your password, tap Forgot Password, then follow the instructions on the screen.
4. Tap Create a new Apple ID and follow the instructions on the screen to complete sign up.*
5. To verify your email address, tap or click the link in the verification email that was sent to you. Or if you already verified your email address with Apple, sign in with new apple id password to complete setup.
Tap Sign Out
If you’re using iOS 10.3 or later, tap Settings > [your name]. Scroll down and tap Sign Out. Enter apple id password and tap Turn Off. If you’re using iOS 10.2 or earlier, tap Settings > iCloud > Sign Out. Tap Sign Out again, then tap Delete from My [device] and enter apple id password Then go to Step 4.

On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iOS 10.3 or later:
-Go to Settings > [your name] > Password & Security.
-Tap Turn Off Two-Factor Authentication.
-Enter your Apple ID password and tap Turn Off.
On your Mac with macOS Sierra 10.12.4 or later:
-Open System Preferences and click iCloud.
-Click Account Details. If you’re using macOS Mojave 10.14 or earlier, click the Cloud icon on the left side of the system preferences window, then click your account name at the top of the iCloud preference pane. If you don’t see this preference pane, you’re not signed in to iCloud.
-Click Security > Turn Off Two-Factor Authentication.
-Enter your Apple ID password and click Continue, then click Turn Off Two-Factor Authentication to confirm that you want to turn it off for your Apple ID.
Sign in with your new Apple ID
If you’ve signed in with your old Apple ID on any Apple services such as the App Store, iCloud, or iMessage, you’ll need to sign out and sign back in with your new Apple ID:
– Open Settings and tap on your name at the top.
– Tap Sign Out. If you have an iOS device with iOS 10.3 or later, tap Settings > [your name]. Scroll down and tap Sign Out.
– Enter your password and tap Turn Off.
– If you’re using iOS 10.2 or earlier, go to Settings > iCloud and tap Sign Out at the bottom of the screen.
– Enter your password and tap Turn Off.
– Tap Sign In and enter your new Apple ID and password.
Open the App Store and sign in with your new Apple ID
If you want to change your Apple ID, you can do so by signing out of your current account and signing in with a new one. You can also change your Apple ID on your devices by going to Settings > iTunes & App Store and tapping on your Apple ID.
Go to Settings > iTunes & App Store > Click your Apple ID > Click View Apple ID > Enter your password > Country/Region > Change
Your Apple ID is the account you use for everything you do with Apple, such as when you shop the iTunes Store, sign in to iCloud, buy an app, and more. So it’s important that you keep your Apple ID secure and up to date. One way to do this is to make sure that your Apple ID password is strong and unique. Another way to keep your account secure is to change your Apple ID password on a regular basis. In this article, we’ll show you how to change your Apple ID password.
1. Go to Settings > iTunes & App Store > Click your Apple ID > Click View Apple ID > Enter your password
2. Country/Region > Change
3. Enter your new password
Open iCloud Settings > Sign out of iCloud > Enter your new Apple ID and password > Sign In
Your Apple ID is the account you use to access Apple services like the App Store, iTunes Store, iCloud, iMessage, the Apple Online Store, FaceTime, and more. It includes the email address and password that you use to sign in, as well as all the contact information, shipping and billing addresses, payment information that you use across Apple services.
If you want to change your Apple ID, you can do so from your device or from your computer. If you’re signed into iCloud and want to change your iCloud account information, you can do so from your device or from iCloud.com.
How to change your Apple ID on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
Open Settings > iCloud > Sign out of iCloud > Enter your new Apple ID and password > Sign In
How to change the email address that’s your Apple ID
On your iOS device: Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Tap on your Apple ID > Tap “View Apple ID” > Enter password > tap on email address > tap “Change Email Address…”
On your computer: Visit appleid.apple.com > sign in with current Apple ID > Security section > click “Edit” next to Trusted Phone Numbers > add a trusted phone number
Open FaceTime > Settings > Click your Apple ID > Sign Out
Open up the FaceTime app. From here, you will want to click on the Settings tab in the bottom right corner of the screen. From the Settings page, click on your Apple ID at the top of the page. A menu will pop up giving you the option to sign out. Click Sign Out.
Open Messages > Settings > Accounts > Click your Apple ID > Sign Out
Open Settings > Accounts > Click your Apple ID > Sign Out. If you’re signed out of your Apple ID, enter your Apple ID and password, then tap Sign In.
After you sign out of your Apple ID, you can sign back in with a different Apple ID.
